Good morning, everyone!

Despite my "chattering voices" rant/essay under Phyllis's post, today is a beeeuuutiful day. Another deadline looming, but this time I'm working with someone like me - he likes to keep moving forward; once he's finished with a task, he oks it, puts it aside, and moves to the next item on the list and doesn't go backward unless the reason to do so is compelling. It'll be a nice break from the garden-variety anal-retentives I've been tortured with for the last month or so.

Having lunch with a coworker who's become a good friend and is an oasis of sanity in the bin-de-loon. We go out once a week, partly due to my weight-watching and partly to her need to save some moolah for her wedding in November 2004. Healthy eating, too - wonderful fish at McCormick & Schmick. This will help with food concerns this evening because:

I'm taking DH to the Shania Twain concert after work this evening for our anniversary. He's has to drive in from the 'burbs, and if the Tuesday night commute into Boston goes as expected, there won't be time for a healthy meal, so lunch is key; he'll be eating a healthy lunch, also, to cover himself so we don't have to inhale something fast and awful.

Top 3:

1) Finally putting together a plan for finding a new job. I have a long timetable. And I'm almost at peace with the decision to scale back and move on.

2) SBD going well - I think I've discovered my lifetime healthy eating plan.

3) My family loves me, bad attitude, cranky moods, and (witty) sarcasm aside. DH is a saint.

Have a great day, everyone!

Good Morning Ladies,

Went home yesterday with an upset stomach and a massive headache. I figured it was stress catching up to me. By 5 pm I realized I had a migrane coming on. I hate those things. I always seem to get them on the downside of a stressful time. I felt so awful I didn't think I was going to be able to make it to work today but I was in bed by 6 pm and by 6 am I could tell it was improving. For someone who spent 12 hours in bed I still feel tired today. Patty I do not know how you deal with migranes. I'm so thankful this is passing and the rest of the day looks bright.

DS is going for an interview with another electrical company. His boos (who laid him off) gave him a wonderful recommendation. He is only 8 months away from graduating and attaining his electricians license. He has already put in 4 1/2 years of training and is in the home stretch. He has to work for a company who sponsors this school to be able to continue. I have my fingers crossed he will be hired by the other compnay today. They just got a big contract at DFW airport for the new tram system they are putting in at the airport so hopefully he would be safe for awhile.

Top Three

My Family...they have been a wonderful support to me

The beautiful weather we are having here in Texas

My home...it's my haven, safe place.

Hope you have a great day...Margie
