So how are you doing today with managing stress, fitness, family, work, meals, LOL..just a few things we women have to juggle!???

I'm still sick and you know I'm sick if I miss Jazzercise, I think Eric about fainted when I told him I'm staying in bed. I do plan to go to body scuplting tonight because it's mostly floor work, but my ears, throat, teeth, head are still affected by this bug!

I've had a piece of toast with peanut butter (not hungry but ate), and some gyoza leftovers (still not hungry but what the heck).

Organzing community stuff and getting the wash done, even cleaning the kitchen.

Not too much juggling here other than what I've listed. Dinner is leftover salmon...easy!

SHARE your day so far please....Deb

Hope you are feeling better SOON!

Been busy today. Had a great power walk with DH. He ran out to do some chores and I hit the weight machine. Great biceps/triceps/chest workout. Threw in a bunch of sets of abs. Then we went to TGIF for lunch. I had a cobb salad. Then we split a warm apple crisp, a la mode, of course! It was yummy and I don't feel the least bit guilty. On the way home, he dropped me off at Borders Books so I could run in and pick up a copy of the South Beach Diet. We flipped thru it and laughed all the way home. How in the heck will I ever do it! We laughed even harder when I told him I was expecting HIM to do it too! We'll see what happens, and who is laughing come Monday morning when the SBD hits the Smith household :)

Sitting in the office, goofing off when I should be working...so back to it for a bit.

Love you guys.

Sassy :)

I got to Jazz early this morning...I'm liking that early morning class which is really out of character for me. I've been using my exercise classes as a kind of stress release and unfortunately, if I go in the morning, I have to wait till the next day for my stress release. I might have to go twice after the day I've had today...and my boss isn't even here to bug me! Ever have one of those days that starts out just fine and slowly disintegrates as the day goes by? That's me today.

Poor Deb, I feel for you and your bug. I'm on the downside of a similar bug myself and it just keeps hanging on for the last week or so. I've been branded 'the contaminator' at work because now everyone else is getting sick. Never let it be said that I didn't give them anything...LoL.

Tonight I'm hoping to get some more laundry done although it's such a beautiful 80 degree day I'm tempted to forego the laundry and head out on my bike or take a walk before it gets dark. I'll walk the dogs anyway.

Hope you all have a great evening.

Feel better soon, Deb - nice to know that some bug will be sweeping its way eastward over the next couple of weeks!

Better day today. Had a nice lunch with my coworker and feeling smug because it was good for me. Ate my one slice of sourdough-like bread, and had arctic charr (I wish they'd just call it salmon - looks and tastes identical) with string beans and a cup of de-caf mint tea. Eating my snack now - garlic lover's hummus with cucumber slices and reduced-fat string cheese. And I've drunk buckets of H20 today - that means I'll have two seats at the concert tonight!

No workout planned; back to the dungeon tomorrow evening.

Enjoy your sculpting class!

So glad that am class is working out for you. And you're having 80 degrees? It is brrr cold here today--very Fall..and I'm about to go sit in front of the fire. So you're the contaminator, huh? I remember my last job, our sick days came off of our PTO (vacation!) days so most people came in sick--which of course made everyone else sick, and so it goes. Handshaking seems to pass it a long too, doesn't it?

Have you tried the Big Ball classes with Jazzercise? We're buying about 15 balls this week for students who are wanting to give it a try. I like it a lot! Deb

I've never heard of a fish called Arctic Charr...do you only find it in the waters off Boston?:o) The things we learn sharing on this board!

I love hummus---and it sounds great with cuke slices, thanks for the idea.

I love when you post the afternoon check in! Miss you when you're not here to do it.I hope you feel better soon.

My day has been a mixed bag.I got a weight workout in early.I'm doing much better about not blowing off my weights.By the way, Kathy Smith has a new Lift Weights to Lose Weight II video out.Anyone thinking of getting it?I had a fantastic time with my parents. We took a longer back way to H'burg and it was so nice.Heard back from my flock of birds.Didn't do as well as I had hoped but since the first of the year I've had a steady improvement and that's what I'm going to focus on.Need to get a cardio in but just not sure I'm up for it.DH comes home tonight and tomorrow he's putting me back to work.Only for 2 days though because I put in for Friday off in advance:)

Tim and I did SBD from April 7th to about the beginning of July and had great success. I lost 15 lbs., and he lost 22. It was relatively painless. You would think that would be enough to motivate me to get back on it, but nooooo. What am I doing but trying out a new chocolate cake recipe with ricotta cheese in it. It's called Sargento Choco Dolce. I think that means "Chocolate Cake with even more calories than plain." Did I mention it has chocolate sour cream icing?

Maybe tomorrow...
