Good morning everyone! I have to get back to work today, chickens show up first thing tomorrow.I hope to get a cardio workout in before heading off to CL.It seems like lately if I don't do it early in the day it just doesn't happen. Not sure if it will be a run or maybe a step workout.

I hope to get alot done today so I don't have to work thru chat.A discussion on marriage, huh. I may take notes :)

Deb, hope you're feeling better.Donna, how was the concert?Hope everyone had a wonderful Wednesday!!!

Happy Hump Day! In spite of being awake since 3-something and not going to bed until 12:45, I feel pretty good. Katie (dog) has some kind of an allergic reaction to something and has red, itchy welts on her. When I realized what was going on I got up a little before 5 to give her a bath with a special soap and spray cortisone spray on her. She still has the welts, but is doing better. Winston seems to be recovering from his ordeal yesterday.

Hey, how about that CA election? The Terminator is now the Governator!! Chalk one more up for the Republicans and conservative thinking. It's nice to see the pendulum start to swing back the other way.

I plan to be at the chat tonight. Any topic is fine with me. I also like the idea of a book of the month.

Today is the trip to the USS Kennedy. Hope we have good weather for it. I'm really looking forward to it. Even laid my clothes out last night!

Have a wonderful day!

Good Morning Guys and Gals. Or just Gals in this case.

It's a fwoggy, fwoggy morning here. My 7 yo still says Fwoggy for foggy. Has nothing to do with frogs, by the way.

Anyhoo. I was going to walk said 7 yo to school and then head out on my walk, but I think I'll hit the treadmill instead as soon as I drop him off at school. Had a great walk yesterday and want to continue the momentum. Knee is a bit tender, and since I'm babying it, my entire right leg aches a bit. This getting old really blows sometimes. After cardio, a few sets of abs, then I'll hit the lat bar (love it, Phyllis...you were right!) and do some back work and shoulder work. Then off to the office for the day. Busy day and evening tonight. Plan on being at chat...we'll see how it goes! Of course I always have tons to say on the subject of marriage!

Off and running ladies. I'll be checking in later.

Hugs.

Sassy :)

I saw in "Fitness" magazine that one way to help prevent knee problems from running is to lengthen your stride. It helps take some of the stress off the joint.

Thanks for the idea. I think it was all the cardio and then the squats and lunges that just took it's toll...hard as I try to not push my knee over my toe...sometimes it happens. I've thrown out the running...just been walking and will save some light jogging for the treadmill.

As long as your legs are (lucky you), you may need to get a longer treadmill.

Good Morning Ladies,

Early morning workout consisted of the "a" words, abs and arms. I'll only be working until 1 today as I will be accompanying DD for her medical procedure today. She'll be glad when "Phase 2" as she's calling it over and then the hardest part (my thinking anyway) waiting for the results. Still waiting for DH's latest blood work to see if he'll have to go in for a biopsy. Too much medical stuff going on around here.

Anyway, hope to get caught up with a few chores around here this afternoon as long as we don't end up sitting forever in the doctor's waiting room.

Hope to be at chat this evening if all goes well.

Hope your Wednesday isn't too Wild and Wooly!

LoL...

Today I meant to get up early and head to class....but it didn't pan out. So I'll catch the 5:30 class after work.

The book chat sounds like it could be interesting. What sort of books did you have in mind? I'll try to make it to chat tonight...if I can pry DH away from his game...hopeless...hmmmm...maybe I do need a chat about marriage...

Have a great day!
