Who knew buying an upholstered headboard could be such a gigantic pain youknowwhere? Checked delivery status on my order for the last piece of furniture that was "in stock", meaning delivery within 3 weeks of order. Anybody want to guess estimated delivery date?

If you guessed December 31st - you're right! I'm really rotten at figures, but that doesn't look like 3 weeks to me.

The frame, however, should be in by next week/week after. That's the consolation prize - at least I can get the new mattress and box spring out of the living room before I have to make room for the Christmas tree.

At least this company isn't going out of business.

Not happy again - for now!

Sometimes if the fabric is on back order is can throw a wrench in the works. Once they get it in, they still have to fabricate the headboard, which shouldn't take long at all. Sometimes (but not often), they'll tell you it's going to be longer than it really is, so you're pleasantly surprised (and even grateful) when it arrives sooner. Often, it takes longer. The furniture industry is like that.

Thanks. I know what you said is true and that I might actually have it by Thanksgiving...

But in a lot of ways, I'm still 5 YO and lacking the patience gene....

I totally understand! I am the same way. It might take me 6 months to make up my mind, but once I do, I want it immediately!! LOL!

How aggravating! Maybe they calculate time with someone elses calendar! I'm with you when I order something I want it when they say it's supposed to come! I get antsy waiting for an Amazon order! Hope it turns out that they figure out what really is 3 weeks!
