Thanks for the post below. Sorry I haven't been around much but seriously this whole thing with finding my dads new family has really kept me busy lately. Its also brought a whole new closeness between my parents and I. Its just wonderful. Every day I receive more and more info on dads father or family and its just fantastic. Some of it, of course isn't so great, but you take the bad with the good and the good outways the bad by a long shot.

My job is going very well. This past Tuesday was my one year anniversary there. I really enjoy working with all of them and they tell me they enjoy me too....hhmmmm...sometimes I wonder how thats possible, but heh, I'll take it! hahaha! I have my one year evaluation on Wed. I hate those things. The only thing I like about them is the raises that come along with them. So if I'm as valuable as they say I am, I should be getting a raise come Wed....right? We'll see. Either way, I truly enjoy it there. Alot less stress, thats for sure!

My dd is doing fine. She has decided that after this semester she is going parttime at school and working fulltime. She really doesn't like going to school. Shes seriously thinking of going to massage therapy school next fall. She says that the joy and relaxation she gets from getting her own massage makes her want to share that and be able to give that same gift to others every day. She misses dancing too (she was in danceline in high school) so shes thinking of checking out schools to see if they need a coach. Shes having some boyfriend troubles though. She came home yesterday for a visit and to do laundry too ;-), but we sat on her bed (just like old times) and talked for the longest time last night. She left just a bit ago and she said she felt so much better today. I have this boy that dh and I have been dreaming she would hook up with and she actually dated him about 4 years ago. But back then she was too young and he was 4 years older then her so we didn't approve of it. But in the back of our minds we always hoped she would hook up with him again in the future cause he is any girls dream of the perfect man and any parents dream of the perfect son-in-law. But ya know, it ain't our job to do the pickin'....dang, I wish it was! hahaha!

My boys are doing well. My oldest graduated from Concordia Lutheran College last Dec. and he is going to apply at graduate schools sometime before this coming Dec. He wants to study sociology (sp?) in more depth. My middle son is a senior at MSU. Yes, thats the school that just recently had the rioting. He says the press really over rated it and it wasn't that bad. But this is coming from a college boys point of view. I guess the cops handled it kinda bad but its still no excuse for how the kids reacted. Anyway, he watched it a bit and then got out of there....thank goodness!

Okay, so thats what I've been up to and my families doings. How about you? How have you been? How is your daughter liking the married life? How is your son doing in St.Paul and is he still enjoying school?

Again, thanks for asking, even though you probably didn't expect to have to read a whole chapter on me when you asked! heeheehee....Take care Nanc...thanks, lisa
