It's been a learning experience with the graphics Phyllis. I'm learning I have great graphics software and I don't have to fudge around with pictures in Power Point. The time I wasted. I had all these great collages but in teeny tiny jpg files. Which on ofoto would produce wallets at best. A friend mentioned my Picture It software and voila..it's cool. Does anyone else do a lot of fun projects with Picture It?

I hope I don't have too many pictures at the party--but I just love pictures. Conveniently NONE of the collages include any of ME as a gawky child or growing up. Ha..the collage creator has control.

My aunt quickly pointed that out when I sent them to her for an ok. She's in a lot with my dad as a kid (from 70 years ago!) and she was so cute but she told me I couldn't use them :o). But she seems to be ok with what I did.

The next time you have the opportunity to go to Vegas, let me know. Could-have-been husband lives there and is a SVP for Boyd's. He always sets folks up with good show seats, etc. 'Course if you just want to gamble, not sure he can set you up with anything in that department!

We were all up and out early this morning, headed to Cracker Barrel and then to the Apple Festival at Graves Mountain, Syria, Virginia. The hurricane really did a number on the trees. It was right around spraying time and the trees were so wet for so long, they weren't able to spray them for fungus. Not much on the trees that was edible. They had a lot of limb damage, too. DD hung out at the stable the entire time we picked apples. Then we headed across the street to the festival for funnel cake and soda. I very rarely drink soda, but an icy cold Pepsi hit the spot. 'Course the usual burping contest proceeded next. I think I won! Woo-hoo.

We got home pretty early and I've been ranting and raving about the condition of the house, finding a half chewed apple under my bed (from today), etc., etc. GRRRRRRRRRR.

Tomorrow morning, DH and the oldest darlings are off to hike Old Rag Mountain. Little guy and I are going to the big lake to ride our bikes around. That will be my exercise for the day tomorrow.

Hugs.

Sassy

Hey, I had a funnel cake today too. Delicious!Sounds like you guys had a good day.Congrats on winning the burping contest...I think :)Our festival wasn't much this year. The only high point was when I was standing next to my neice and someone came over and asked her if I was her sister.I could hear my real sisters behind me laughing like crazy!
