Good morning!Full house at my place today, everyone is home.Looking forward to it but hard to get much accomplished on days like that.I've had a week of being on the go and having lots to do.This week everything settles down.I've had a great time but I'm so ready for quiet and routine.Going to get back to my exercise routine.I'm even looking forward to cleaning, scary!!!Planning on a run today and maybe some weights.

Have a wonderful Monday!

Helen Keller knew that consistency is key! Right on, Phyllis! I'm really trying to get this 5 lbs. off (won't weigh myself for a month probably), so I'm going to be consistent! Journal writing is helpful, I'm finding out. I would like to enjoy the holiday foods in moderation, so I'm willing to shun the goodies 'till then.

7 clients in one day, Phyllis! Your whole day is one huge workout! Glad your business is so busy - shows what a good trainer you are.

Did my powerwalk with friends and the weights & abs are next. 15 min. project: letters out for my business. DS is out of school - pouting last night that I can't take the day off, but boss is out of town. Danny wanted to go - yes, you guessed it - fishing! It's raining, though, so we wouldn't have done that anyway. I will take him the day I am taking off later this month when he gets out of school. You'd never guess that he goes almost every weekend day with his dad the way he whines around about not getting to go enough!

Have a great day!

Good Morning!

We had such a busy weekend. Glad today slows down a bit. DH and the oldest Darlings are off to hike Old Rag. Youngest DS is still asleep. I'm working in the office. That is my job today...getting my home office finished. It is a wreck. Papers stacked up everywhere. I've been working on it here and there for two weeks. I've procrastinated enough (got the rest of the house clean by avoiding having to work in the office!). Today I'm dedicating several hours to it. DS and I are going to bike ride or I'll pw and he'll ride. Something...but we're getting outside. It is beautiful out there today. Leaves are finally beginning to change. Before I know it, they will have changed and the trees will be bare.

Tomorrow everyone is back to school and work and I am back to my (comforting) routine! I agree with Patty that there is something to be said for routine and order.

Have an awesome day, Ladies!

Hugs

Sassy :)

Good Morning,

2 nights of not sleeping well is not a good thing especially when you depend on a good night to get you up and at it. I have a dr appointment after work-they called Friday and want to see me today as Dr doesn't like something else in my blood work and wants to talk to me about changing medications-hope he's ready for an earful! Workout will probably be a walk with Otto.

15 minute project will be cleaning up the kitchen before heading out the door for work this morning.

Hope everyone has a good Monday!

Susan

Ok, I'm with you Phyllis. I think I can probably live without the evening snack anyway. I've been trying to avoid eating after 8pm but it's not going so well. Some days I just can't get supper done before then! And that TV is like some kind of weird Pavlovian thing for me and food.

Today's workout? I get to babysit this evening and I suspect that will be quite a workout right there. Ivy is almost 3 years old and a wild woman.

My 15 minute project? Too many to choose from. I think I'll just start at the top of the list and see what happens by the end of the day.

Have a great day!

I'll be doing the full Body Sculpt today. I had a rest day yesterday, and I'd like another run-free day today, giving the LB workout a chance to strengthen my upper legs, thighs and hips.

Good morning, everyone!

It's an official holiday in MA; DH is home enjoying a gorgeous day, I'm at work and not enjoying any of it, but what can I do? It's a day off that my company doesn't recognize; among conservative radio hosts in Boston, it's called a "hack holiday".

My workout is cardio and freeweights tonight - LB and UB, and abs. Lots of stretching needed, too - dumb hips!

The fancy-schmancy dinner Saturday night didn't cause any temporary weight bumps. Workouts and healthy eating this week will be consistent; there's not a lot happening at work to interfere and cause late nights, and after three trips to the grocery stores, I finally have everything I need in the house for good meals all week. I'm not craving sugary stuff at all; as a matter of fact, I had Cheerios for breakfast recently with low-fat milk and I didn't add any sweetener to it, and I had to throw half of it away because all I could taste was sugar; not appealing at all. People at work have already started with the candy corn and little pumpkins that taste like candy corn - ugh; my teeth hurt at the thought. If all works out well this week, there'll be additional weight loss by Friday, AF be d%^&ed.

15-minute project - finished them all during the first half of the Patriots game; they were dreadful, painful to watch, but they got over it and came through. Now if the Red Sox, Yankees, and fans can all grow up and play nice together.....

Have a great day, everyone!

Morning ladies, no school today for me or the kids. So we are home. Hubby had a shop to open and run so he was out early this morning. Kids and I are in slow gear, although we should not be. Planning on starting my points journeling today, and a run to the grocery store later. Both Katie and I have some school work that needs to get done this morning and my house needs its general cleaning up. I am debating on weather I should go to Curves since I would have to drag Katie along or should I just go upstairs and lock my door and do my Walk Away the Pounds video or give the treadmill a 30 minute walk/run. First is my Special K and skim milk for breakfast. Which I better eat soon or it will be lunch time....lol! Have a great day all!!!!

You are a busy woman Phyllis! Today I got up at 430 with Eric so he could have breakfast and catch his flight to Vegas. Living out here in the boonies and gorgeous locale is great---BUT...it's a longggg drive to the airport. Allow one hour to get there on best case basis...with commuters..easily can be 2 hr drive. Fingers crossed he makes the flight.

This morning I'm going to Jazzercise from 930 til noon. Circuit training class, little break, then right into Jazzercise class. No 3 hr workout for me today--I have birthday shopping for Eric to do, then 445 meeting in Tacoma (yikes over that nasty bridge) for Heart Ball. After that---I'm meeting with the auction co chair hopefully at 630 to iron some of our HUGE wrinkles out. Like uh...getting signed commitments on about $100,000 in outstanding in the works procurements :o). No big deal right?

So 2 hrs of fitness, errands at Target, come home do some volunteer work (calls calls and more calls for $$$$) and then pretty up out of my stinky sweaty workout garb for the meeting. THey're feeding us so I don't have to cook today :o). Did a 5 pt breakfast on WW this am and I'm feeling light and happy. Actually went to the site I pay for and got some ideas. AND recorded my points :o). It's a new week, a new Deb.

As for those holiday lbs...I can't afford them. I have new dresses I've invested in for holiday parties and darnit...I'm going to fit into them! I look forward to all of the motivation I can get from you ladies with all those TEMPTING foods which I love love love...love (and I do love parties).
