Someone had posted about this before I think. I just got an Aquis Microfiber hair towel from drugstore.com.I can't believe what a difference it made.I have to wash my hair at least twice a day because of my work and my hair is thick and takes awhile to dry. Plus lately it can become tangled even with a conditioner.I got out of the shower , wrapped my head in the towel while I dried off.The towel really absorbed the wetness and it was much easier to comb thru.

Donna, I finally ordered some Northern Nights flannel sheets.I'm anxious to see what they are like.I have a quilt on our bed with red in it and I ordered a set of red sheets.I thought it would be fun and bright for the winter months.DH is a good sport, he's not a fan of flannel sheets and his eyes got alittle big at the mention of red. Can't wait for cold winter nights now.

Patty - Red is my favorite color. I hope the quality of the Northern Nights sheets live up to the hype. FYI - Our local Costco has Ralph Lauren 300-TC sheets in solids of red, yellow, and navy blue. I'm going all neutral with the new sheets for the new bed (if it ever arrives!), but I could be persuaded to go for the red....

I have a question, posed all in good fun: does your DH sleep with his eyes open or with the lights on?

Giggling over his bug-eyes at the thought of red sheets in the dark while he's asleep....

We had a thread about it last year! I got one after my hairdresser suggested it, bought mine and Body and Bath. It really works well, doesn't it!

LoL I read the question and was so confused!!It was bu**er all over again!Scrolled down , read the rest of the post and got it.Rick and I are so different with temperatures. In the summer he cranks up the AC and I stay in sweats in the house. All year long he sleeps just in his underwear. In the winter I wear flannel jammies and socks. And it it gets really cold I throw on a turtleneck.I love love love red!!!Almost ordered yet another T-neck just cause it was called Santa Red.In most areas Rick is the more conservative of the two of us....or had you already guessed that???

Patty, you and Rick sound like Tim and me. I am constantly cold, and he is constantly hot. I like flannel sheets year-round, but he wouldn't be able to stand it. Donna, I saw some pink Ralph Lauren sheets at Costco today. I don't know why those jumped out at me, because I don't have pink anywhere in the house. I guess because I was looking for purple in case I decide to use a purple sheet for a costume. No luck with that. Red sounds very festive, especially for the holidays, and it's a nice warm color. However, red is also a stimulating color, so if you guys suddenly start staying up later, you'll know why!

I have one of those hair drier wrap towels and love it. It's about due to be replaced. I also have some large rectangles of that microfiber material to use on my car or wherever else I need. Can't remember where I got it, but it had a free smaller size with the larger one.

Rob's and Tim's last couple of bathing suits have been microfiber, and I'm so envious of how quickly they dry and are comfortable again. Of course, I go for maximum spandex, which seems to hold water. ;-)

LOL! You're so funny. I started to qualify the word "stimulating," but decided it would be more fun to see your answer. What I actually meant by stimulating was any kind of activity, not necessarily "that" kind of activity. Do I hear his sigh of disappointment from here? Fast food restaurants and other high activity places where they want rapid turnover of customers often use shades of bright, warm (red, orange, yellow) colors to keep people in a high speed mode. There's a lot of psychology to the use of color. Usually, restaurants and places that want to be calm and relaxing, or want you to linger and spend more money use more subdued, cooler colors, neutral color schemes, or maybe low lighting and dark wood to balance out any red or shades of other warmer colors.

Chickens respond to red, then green and then yellow. That's why equipment in houses are usually red, feed pan and things.Chickens also respond in a stressful way to any sudden bright lights or things. If I have a flashlight come on even in daylight they panic.Once a woman I know who has very pale blonde hair went thru her chicken houses wearing a bright pink shirt. She went thru and all the chickens started going down.Called her husband in a panic that something was wrong with the chickens and he needed to get home right away.Turns out they were fine as soon as she got out, they were just reacting to her.
