I have to share! (my thrill of the day)

My 44th birthday is just around the corner, and you may remember my post last year about two very beautiful items I got that didn't even begin to fit. Both fire engine red, Asian inspired. One was a long dress with slits up the side (that would work WELL for a Hong Kong theme gala coming up) and the other was the same color, different pattern but a little Asian top sleeveless with mandarin collar.

I assumed last year when neither would even begin to zip up (my sister was trying her best, felt like a scene from Gone With the Wind when Scarlett was trying to fit back into one of her gowns post-baby) I'd just keep them as museum pieces in my closet, or give them away to a tinier friend.

ONE year later---------->no loss on the scale. I just got my black satin assymetrical holiday skirt in the mail. I tried on a sleeveless holiday sweater I wore last xmas that I was so happy in..and it was too big!

I thought this skirt needs some PIZZAAZZZZZZZZZZ and oomph---I'll just put that Asian red top on just to see how the color works (knowing that I couldn't zip the thing up).

Ok--the best part. Put on the top...and ZIP........ziipppity zip. It zipped right up!

I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it..LOL....

NOW of course I'm back to my original problem when I got these in the first place. I sweat so much, these are silk and cut close to my under arm....and I'll be gross gross sweaty in no time :(.

Congratulations on being able to wear your top and dress! I felt good in my "Size 6" jeans today at lunch too! I'm thinking of sending Ralph Lauren and Bill Blass thank-you notes. LOL!

Botox injections in the arm pits are drastic, but are supposed to be effective for stopping severe cases of perspiring at least for several months. That could get you through the holiday season.
