Love todays title.Yes, I do want to work out!And I really love the success quote, so true in so many areas of life.

It's windy here today and getting cooler.Don't like the wind but I'm ready for cooler fall weather.I got a ton of things accomplished around here yesterday.I even got down on my hands and knees to mop the kitchen floor.Typically I use a mop and only get down on my hands and knees if a M&M hits the floor!!Since the palace is in order I have errands to do uptown and lots of work in CL.Somewhere in between those things I plan on hitting the treadmill for either intervals or a long run.I also plan today to really focus on my diet.I'm really guilty of seeing a couple pounds drop and then eating carelessly.Yesterday I had too many pieces of fruit. And by fruit I mean cherry twizzlers :)

Hope you all have a really wonderful Wednesday!!

Well, aren't you just full of yourself this morning. Way too cheery for me!

But I'm coming around. I am just not sleeping well, girls, and I am getting tired of it and just plain tired. I'm on edge...ready to snap any second, as I warned DH yesterday.

So my plan today is to cardio myself out. Then wear myself out with weights. Maybe that will help me sleep and take the edge off. My folks are arriving tomorrow for a couple days so I have some cleaning to do, too. And lots of work waiting on me at the office. I guess I better get moving!

Have a great day, ladies. Check in with ya later~

Neato on the promotion/raise for your dh, Phyllis! That's wonderful! Hope you have a great afternoon off - you deserve it.

Did my powerwalk with friends. Back is still hurting today. Hair stylist appointment this a.m. & hope I like it. I'm going back to a girl that used to cut my hair a long time ago - she has Toni & Guy training & I used to love the way she did my hair. I lost track of her after I got a divorce & finally saw her one day at Dillards.

15 min. project - I don't know - I guess get some more letters out and laundry. Will have to do devotional tonight as I'm running late, now.

Have a good one.

Good Morning Girls,

I was ready for We Wanna Workout Wednesday on this this very windy Wednesday here in NY. Set that alarm for 5:15 and no I didn't get up at 5:15 but was up and down in the basement by 5:30.I did a 30 minute cardio and then on to weights. After missing a couple of days of working out it really felt good to be all sweaty from a good workout and to wake up headache free-hope it stays that way!

Phyllis-loved the success quote and the inspirational word!

15 minute project already complete-load of towels out of the washer and into the dryer-Hey Donna-are you sending me your breeding towels? They seem to have multiplied in my basement!

Well that's my day. Hope all of you have a good We Wanna Workout Wednesday!

It was only 62 and windy here this morning, so it felt pretty chilly when I took Rob to school at 6:30. The wind went right through a chenille top I have on. I'm having my first cup of hot white tea for the season, and it feels good. It's sunny, and I'm hoping it will warm up. Yesterday, I wore a sweater set to our volunteer luncheon and Costco, and when I got out it was 88!! Costco was OK, but I guess because I wasn't looking for anything in particular, it didn't seem that great (except for some of the frozen food)! I ended up getting 12 rolls of paper towels and a giant bag of pecans. I'm still glad I got to see what it was like. Now, I want to check out BJ's. Mom said that is her favorite. Does anybody have one of those near her, and if so, do you like it?

I did my 15 minute task I wanted to get completed, which was to make calls to schedule or reschedule several appts. and to mail out the Sept. and Oct. newsletters to the Captain of the aircraft carrier we toured. His speech was in the Sept. one, and the announcement of our tour there was in the Oct. one. Got a nice email from his Public Affairs Officer. She is so terrific, she could sell Bibles to Bin Laden!

I plan to at least walk today, and if I'm feeling frisky, I just may do more.

Phyllis, congratulations on Johnny's promotion and addition to that paycheck! Gotta' love those!

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

Rhonda

We do??? Of course, absolutely, we do.

Last night was a night off, so tonight I'm back to tread and full weights. The weather has done a 180 from early this am - bright, sunny and brisk. I'd like to take a walk at lunchtime, because the wind will provide lots of resistance. It would be nice to have company, but my friend is swamped with year-end billings and updates, so I'm more likely to go it alone.

15-minute project - fold two big loads of towels and vacuum the living room and dining room rugs. That'll mean dusting the living room and dining room furniture is my 15-minute project for tomorrow.

Phyllis - Congratulations to Johnny on the promo. I don't even know him and I'm proud of him!

Have a lovely day, ladies!

Good Morning Ladies,

It's a beautiful morning here in Texas. It's too nice to go to work but I need to be there so I'll need to make the most of my lunch break!

Phyllis, Yea! on Johnny's raise. The best part of the raise (& rank) is the fact that it means more money every month once he does retire!

Rhonda, Saw your post about Costco. The trick to all these warehouse stores is that things change daily. You need to go back often and browse. Also if you see something you like buy it right there and then. The good things sell quickly and I always figure if I change my mind I can return it. Another good thing I like about Costco (don't know if the others have the same policy) but they will take anything back at anytime. I had a printer for 18 months and it malfunctioned. The HP warranty was expired but DH was told to bring it in for a full refund and we were able to purchase another printer. At first I thought they were being nice because DH works there but no he said you should see some of the stuff people return years after they have purchased it. I know this policy has made me start checking to see if I can purchase something a COSTCO before purchasing it at another store that does not have this policy.

Hummmm exercise, I haven't exercised in weeks and I need to be getting back into that routine. Not sure yet but I'd like to take a nice brisk walk tonight.

15 minute project... to make a list of projects that need to be done.

Have a great day everyone!

Margie - I saw 2-ply cashmere turtleneck sweaters at Costco Friday for $49.00. Given the usual retail price of cashmere and the usual retail sale price of around $100, those were a steal. They had plenty in all the colors that were available - grey, winter white, black, and red. Kicking myself that I didn't get at least one, but I'm not sure of my size and I don't like going back and forth to that store too often. Too tiring and too tempting.

Oh, well - maybe I'll cave and go back tonight. Just to see.....

It's a gorgeous day to take a walk. Do it; you'll feel better!

Hugs,

Donna

Rhonda - You just need to keep checking in at these places. I used to belong to BJ's, my sister used to belong to Sam's, but the one nearest her home closed, believe it or not. Both of those places down toward my house are too far away, so we joined Costco by default. You find gems once in a while; mostly it's good for paper products, party goods, and produce if you have a big family or lots of company.
