Donna,

Loved your post detailing the feel of 11 lbs. lost. Congratulations to you! Sounds like you are doing better without the Weight Watchers plan. I tried to stay awake and watch the game last night but turned in about 10:30. Sorry to hear of the loss but heck I'm so pleased it's Friday I couldn't let the loss put a damper on my day. Most Texans are happy that Punch Rodrequiz who was a longtime Ranger is getting to go to the world series with the Marlins. He is still loved here.

Have a fab weekend.

Margie :)

Not American, but good morning to you also.

I'm definitely in need of a tune up!! I've been (to say the least), lazy for the last couple of months and my body is showing it. The final straw was watching Extreme Makeovers last night and looking at the bodies on the two women "pre-makeover". They were in better shape than mine now!!! And one had arms to die for!

So, it's off the couch for me today and I'm going to start over on an eating plan. Weights, crunches and some aerobics for me today.

My 15 minute project is to go and pick up my package from Sears. A new pair of cords. I don't normally order from the catalogue, but I can always return them if I don't like them and the price was right.

I'm going to try and get back into posting every day! Lord knows, I need some motivation and encouragement.

After a summer of drought, we are now experiencing record breaking rainfalls. Yesterday topped the all time recorded amount and things are beginning to flood. Fortunately though, not in our area of the city.

Have a great day everyone.

Funny that you should mention tennis because my dh and I were thinking of joining a place next Spring. That would encourage us to get in shape and build-up the endurance that it takes before Spring.

Today, did an hr and 20 min of cardio. Would have done maybe another 40 min if the televisions at the gym had been working – all went out at the same time. I’m not one to read – it gives me motion sickness and besides with the way I sweat, anything I read would have to be waterproof!

I have so many 15 min projects that it will soon turn into a 24-hour project! LOL!

Anyway, Happy Friday All!

Sure, I'll be glad to. A lot of good movies will be coming out soon. Also, really want to see the one where Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear are Siamese twins. Looks hysterically funny!

Winston got his stitches out and was a big boy, so I was very proud of him. Brought him home and got a number of other errands done. Was going to get just a wet cut, but Amy persuaded me to let her blow dry it for free! I don't know why it is, but no matter how well someone can cut my hair, I never like the way she styles it. It always looks too done, so now I'll have to wash all the stuff out and do it myself.

Hurray! My Christmas cards came today! They're smaller than I usually send, but I liked the picture and message, so that's OK. I have a lot more to send out this year, since I've made so many new friends.

Rhonda,

I'm the same way about my hair after I get it cut. If they style it I always come home and wash it and blow dry it myself. I started getting wet cuts but then several times I came home and dried it and saw a few miscut pieces and would end up going back. Now I just ask her to blow dry it. Somehow with her hands running through it she seems to notice if anything is straggling behind. I have spent the last 3 years trying to find a stylist I love and I end up always going back to the girl who does a good job. I'm really a wash and blow dry kind of gal and could never stand to have hair that is stiff or too perfect.

My DH and I used to go to the movies every Friday afternoon. I would get off of work at 4 pm and we would hit an early show and then get a bite to eat. Once we got Direct TV we got lazy and have been waiting for things to show there. I sort of miss our Friday night movie dates. Did I see a post from you where ou said you got the movie stream? If yes, how do you like it?

It is soo good to have a "down day" at work so I can catch up with the board!...Margie :)
