I haven't seen a post from Catherine in a long time and I hope that things are okay with her. I saw some from Shar within the past few weeks but she has been scarce. Anyone have any news on their whereabouts?

Hi Margie,

I'm around and try to check the board once a day and keep up with everyone, but my routine has changed since Adam started kindergarten and I've been really limiting my on-line time. However, I'm really in need of some butt-kicking to get myself moving, so I'm back!

Thanks for thinking about me.

Shar

Hi Shar!

Soo good to see your post. I understand how a change in routine can throw a monkey wrench into our plans. Hope Adam is enjoying kindergarden. Is it a half or whole day program? There isn't anyone here who needs butt-kicking more than me! Hope that things begin to even out. I miss you!

Margie :)

Hi Patty. Thanks for asking and yes we had a great Thanksgiving. 17 people for dinner. All of my children were here, along with dh's brother's family, his cousin, her dh and his boys. But, I got lots of prep done the day before, so it was pretty easy. However, I did indulge in the stuffing, potatoes and gravy and apple and pumpkin pies (more than once!) LOL.

Hi there Margie!

I haven't logged into i-Village for a while - things have gotten very busy around here and I've been traveling regularly too. Our house is up for sale. DH and I felt that the house is way to big for our needs and we're getting to that time in life where we need to scale down.

Hope everything is well with you, and everyone else on the board. I think of you guys often and miss the daily interaction. I'd like to drop in a little more regularly than I have been.

Hugs,

Catherine.

Catherine,

So good to see you post. I can certainly understand what you are saying about the need to scale back. Our house is a modest 1500 sq. ft. and it suits me just fine now that our children are grown and out of the house. I have had several friends recently purchase very large homes in their early 50's and scarey to me they have taken 30 year mortgages. I wonder how they think they will pay for them. I have visions of them being 60+ and homeless!

I was wondering if you could tell me the title of the book you mentioned after your father passed away. I remember you saying it was good but I can't for the life of me remember the title.

Great to see you posting...Margie
