Red boots!!I want some!!Sounds like you had a great day.It also sounds like you are having alot of fun with your clothes.

Yes, I'm ready for snow, cold weather and cozy sweaters.By March it will be a whole different story!!

Today I want to get a run in.Maybe outside since it's suppose to be nice.Or maybe on the treadmill so I can do some intervals.I have a few errands to do uptown so that will be my 15 min project. And I need to do alittle more yard work. Also would like to make a few extra trips thru CL today.

Hope everyone has a Marvelous Monday!!!

I ran just a tad over 4 miles yesterday. Today I'll do some sprinting while Allison is in gymnastics, and sometime to day I'll do UB and abs work. Didn't too as well as I'd planned last week in that area.

No big plans today, just tidying up the house from weekend clutter.

Great sounding shopping trip, Phyllis. I had a great one yesterday, too. We bought $5.00 shirts at Foley's (for summer) and I bought a $100 little Oriental number on sale for $25. at Dillard's. I needed the boots on sale at Dillard's too, but can't have everything! We had a nice lunch out at TGIF with a margarita before we shopped! Needless to say, we were still full last night and didn't eat dinner.

Did my powerwalk this a.m.

Have a great day!

Good morning!

The frost is on the pumpkin and the black ice is on the stairs (no one fell)! What a cold morning, but the sunshine is blindingly bright, so what's left of the leaves is gorgeous color. We got the car started and the defroster running early enough that we didn't have to scrape the windshield.

Workout will be cardio only. I'm going to make a pumpkin-based dessert for dinner tonight that I got from the SBD message board that won't challenge my carb load for the day; when I printed it out and showed it to DH, he thought it sounds appetizing and is willing to give it a try.

Over the weekend I found a new pair of red mittens - knit, suede palm with ridges for driving, and thick pile lining. I haven't seen them in a few years, and thus my old ones were getting a little decrepit. I may go back and get another pair; it's always nice to have a backup.

Have a wonderful day, everyone!

My heading this morning would have been "Mad and Moaning Monday Workouts". Just a brief run down...wild and crazy weekend...spent all weekend doing what everyone else had planned, including games and practices and parties and visits. Got nothing done that I needed to do. Yesterday, same thing. Plus I left DS's brand new watch on the bench after his game. The Jeep was dead (battery) and I was preoccupied with how we were going to deal with that since DH was 45 minutes away at other son's game. Finally got a jump. Got home to a trashed house (again) and said screw it and got into my flannels and climbed into bed. This morning, we were all late getting up (except for DH) and I locked the keys in the van. Which was running. Still is, actually. 90 minutes later. Haven't heard from DH about it yet. We do have an extra key. On his key ring. In his pocket. At the office. So, that is my life today. When satan gets a foothold...

So, onto positive things. I'm eating well this morning. Eating for energy and health, not to satisfy a craving or because my life sucks. Have lots of energy, actually. Will get a workout in. Especially since it looks like I won't be going to the office...those keys are locked in the running van, too!

Have tons to do here and have gotten a lot done already.

Will check in later. After my workout and after I've gotten 15-15 minute projects done!

Sassy<-feeling some stress and strain but getting thru

Oh, there you are...I should have read farther down. I give you credit for getting out and exercising after all that's been happening. I think I'd have crawled back in bed. Hope you've gotten the keys and things are looking up

Saw some red suede ankle boots in the Coldwater Creek catalog (or J. Jill) that I was totally fascinated with even though I have no need for them at all. I won't be getting them, but every time I see them I'm drawn to them for some reason.

The dew should be dried up by now, so I'm heading out to mow. That will chop up some of the big brown Sycamore leaves that have fallen, so they aren't so noticeable and don't blow around so much. I noticed my neighbor raking up a bunch of them, but there's not much I can do about it. I end up raking pine straw and other kinds of
