Very busy these last few days/weeks. School work is really challening. Trying to stay ontop of my house work and family obligations. Wanted to officially join WW on Friday but Katie had a field trip and wanted me to come along, so...........off I went. I spent the day with her, and I did not go to WW or Curves. I plan on going on Friday when I am alone, and have the time. Until then I am trying but it is hard. As I said school is very difficult and its one of the hardest things I have had to work on. Very time comsuming and fustrating, especially when I listen to these young girls in there late teens and early 20's getting it already at speeds of 60 to 70 words per minute. I am doing 40 to 50, and I am the oldest in the class. But my teacher assures me I will get it sooner or later. I am hoping for the sooner part. Lets not mention my helping Katie with her homework, and trying to run this house. Hang in there everyone, I will catchup soon, I hope.

Deb,

So good to see you posting! I've missed seeing your posts but I do understand that each of us go through periods where we need to take care of other things going on in our lives.

Hugs, Deb! Miss you, but truly understand! I remember one Thanksgiving holiday I literally had a term paper in stacks all over my apartment! It's so exciting that you are going back to school - hang in there! On the speed, after you've been with it awhile, it will be better!

Yes, being with Katie is a priority! Field trips lessen as they get older, as you know, so being with her on a field trip is a treat! I miss those days of being with my little one on field trips. You can join WW a different Friday night.

Deb, you've got a heap on your plate - your child, your home, school. All of us on the board will still be here when you get past your busy time; take care of what needs caring for, but don't forget yourself and your health. Katie needs a happy, healthy mom; somehow, when all this craziness is over, you're going to feel stronger and better about things and more ready to deal with your fitness and finding a lifetime way to eat. Until then, do the best you can.

Take care, and post as you can - we'll still think of you!

I hear ya - and *you* hang in there. You've got more on your plate than many of us, and hats off to you for going back to school. I did alright in school way back when, but I'm not sure I'd even venture to go back.

Your focus is where it should be...school and home. I know how hard it is to go back to school later in life. I did exactly that. It was hard, but well worth the effort. You will get better and faster soon. We miss hearing from you, but you have a full plate.
