DS and his football team won their first game 20-6!!! DS made an interception! I didn't get to watch as I was at WW, but his dad did. So excited for them!

Anyway, love the WW leader, her name is Kathleen. She's so tiny and very thorough and upbeat! I bought a couple of books to help me along with conversions and we'll see what happens! My friend didn't show up, but I'll have to fill her in & maybe we can get together at the next meeting.

It sounds like you are going to enjoy weight watchers.

Congratulations to Danny!!! Interceptions are SO exciting (when the right team makes them), and I know he had to be very excited.

Glad to hear you like your WW leader. I think a good rapport with someone like that is very important.

Thanks, Patty. I'm still kind of pudgy, though. I'm not going to get down to pre-Danny size (it's funny, but according to their charts I would have almost been underweight at 108 lbs.! My pre-baby weight was the minimum weight for my height. Funny!), but I need to lose 10 lbs.

DS' interception happened at the beginning of the game & hey, of course set the tone of the game! LOL! He was excited!

Thank you for the compliment, Margie. I think 10 lbs. is enough. Anyway, I joined to get more knowledgeable about portions and for the support. They did hand out charts to people who wanted to do a higher protein than carbs kind of plan. At least WW tries to cater to peoples preferences.

It was upper 80's today! Shorts weather! That's fine with me as I'm still buying ds' fall wardrobe! However, I love the cooler mornings and nights!

No word of our stolen stuff, but I'm still looking into that alarm system for the house.

Thanks, Rhonda! I wished I could have seen Danny's interception! Your ds is so handsome! I bet the girls call all the time for him!

I was happy to hear the leader talk about choosing whole grains & putting lots of veggies & fruits into the eating plans. WW even had charts printed for people who wish to eat more proteins than carbs using the points system.

I really hope the number on the scale drops some next week as I am super bloated & crampy/achey from AF's pending arrival (actually I've been this way for a whole week now!). It must be too many sweets/carbs as I still only drink 1 cup of coffee a day.

Danny must have been so excited about the win and his interception. Nice that his father was there with him to see it.

Kat, good luck to you in WW. Hope it helps you peel off those last few pounds - although I don't know where you're planning on peeling them from!

I have a feeling there will be more special plays for you to see during football season. I'd love to see a picture of Danny.

The girls do call and instant message a lot, and when we're out I hear them call across lobbys or parking lots at the movies or stores. They will have to pass the "mom test" to get to him! LOL! He's my sweetie! Is Danny eating a lot at this age? I give Rob $15. a week for lunch, yet every time I pick him up (only twice a week, thankfully) he wants to get something to eat to tide him over until dinner. Yesterday it was a foot long meatball sub, 3 peanut butter cookies, and a drink!! He just has an inch to go to catch me in height, so I have a feeling it won't take long.

Sounds as though the WW system has changed a lot for the better. It seems
