Just wondering how you did with your points today. Have you found it difficult to stay within the 20 points? How about figuring it out? So far, so good?

So far, so good. I had exactly 20 points today! I was hungry by 12:00 pm but had to wait 'till 1:30 to eat lunch. Other than that, I've felt pretty good. I already ate dinner as I like to eat before 6 pm. I can see I will probably lose some right away since I'm used to eating a little more each day. I need to drink more water now. I also need to make up some menus - have tomorrow off from both jobs so will study it all. Today, I went to Subway for lunch - that was very easy! I had some leftover WW macaroni & cheese I had made with a salad for dinner. We'll see how it goes . . .

How are you doing? I think the Flex points is a good way as you always have the same target each day but if something comes up during the week, you have some points to play with. I doubt I will use them all the time. The leader told us not to go under 20 points if we could possibly help it as to not lower our metabolisms.

I like the little checkbook journal - it's neat you get one every week. I don't think I will get to go next week as I'm working every night except Thurs. However, my Dillard's boss told me she lowered my hours to 15 per week beginning Nov. Out of that, I should get a Mon. or Tues. off I would think!

I hope you get to go the meeting soon - the materials are very informative & encouraging.

I have a great leader, too!

Hugs,

Kat

It sounds like you had a good 'first day' on Weight Watchers, Kat.

Hi, Nancy. No, I don't subscribe to WW mag, but I bought the latest issue & it had a recipe for stove top macaroni & cheese (w/reduced fat cheddar) & I loved it. Although, lots of people might not as it has diced tomatoes in it. I made a mistake & put MILD Rotel diced tomatoes, but it was delicious! Anyway, I am going to make the Chicken & Dumplings recipe maybe tomorrow & if it's good, I'll post it.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to shedding some of this before Thanksgiving! And I don't wish to put it back on, so I better get used to counting points! LOL! I have a luncheon tomorrow, so that will be hard. I bought those books on conversions - restaurant one & the other thick book with every kind of food you can think of . . . Maybe it will help me.

Glad you had a good day. Do you go to the meetings once a month as a Lifetimer?
