Workout today is UB/LB weight & ab work. Have to work today, tonight and all weekend. Oh, well, it pays the bills!

Yesterday I ran, ran, ran. Figures I'd do that on my vacation day. After my 6 miler and shower, I went to the symphony guild luncheon. It was nice and I sat beside a friend I've known for 10 yrs. We're getting ready for Christmas Corner which is our big fundraiser for the symphony. For a weekend in Nov., vendors sell their wares in our convention center. I will volunteer to work in it IF I get any time off from Dillard's (doubtful), but I will make cookies to feed the volunteers and vendors. I love baking so I will enjoy that! I thought about buying season tickets for the symphony, but truly don't know if I'll get to go to all of them - they're on Sat. nights. Anyway, I ate excellent there - they had salad w/grilled chicken and I ignored the bread & ate a tiny bite of yummy cheesecake w/raspberry sauce. After luncheon, ran errands, bought ds 2 shirts, came home & baked ds cupcakes and then picked him up from school. He got so excited when I asked him if he wanted to go fishing. We went for 3 hrs. and he caught 2 little bass. We came home and I cooked the salmon (that Cooking Light recipe, Deb, and it was very good!) and his fish. Had a good day, but was glad to put my feet up around 9 pm last night!

Have a wonderful Friday everyone!

I have an appt. this morning, then plan to get in some good mall walking!!

Tomorrow, I am working at the RWCDF booth at the Jacksonville Fair with a friend. We're taking our kids, so they can ride the rides and stuff while we work. Rob has a friend spending the night, so he'll go with us. Our neighborhood is having a garage sale this weekend. I need to get the stuff together for that, so Tim can man

Workout today will be a good walk with DH. Then it's off to the office. Have 3 games to attend tomorrow, then DH and oldest 2 will be out for the evening and it will just be the little guy and me. I'm thinking we'll get a movie and veg on the sofa. I'm in need of that. Sunday, my GF and I are going to a Pampered Chef party right after church. We're going for the food, the chat time and then we're bugging out early. That's my weekend. I guess I'll do some things around the house.

Today's workout is a potluck gathering at one of my boss' house this evening. A co-worker is moving to Ohio to be with her Air Force hubby so we're sending her off in style. Ok, we're sending her off without much style, but with some humor thrown in. Should be pretty good. I'm on the relish tray committee. I swear, if it wasn't for me, nobody would bring anything healthy.

So not much time for workout today, but I did a killer workout yesterday in step class so I feel entitled to a day off.

I don't watch Survivor much. I did when the last one got close to the end but mainly because there was nothing else on to watch and I felt like a power lounge. I mostly get a good chuckle out of it. I'm more a Fear Factor kind of gal I guess. Watching those idiots eat stupid things and perform ridiculously dangerous stunts for a mere $50,000 is entertaining. I mean, really, would you eat Tomato Hornworms for $50,000? Have a little dignity.

Looking forward to that extra hour of sleep this weekend. I could use it! Have an amazing day everyone!

Good morning, everyone...

Workout today is cardio, with just a few UB and LB weight exercises I didn't do Thursday night.

Weekend plans - sleepover for both of my sister's kids, a first for the little guy, so mom and dad can get some painting and tiling done. My nephew is definitely mom's boy, so this might end up in big sad tears and a late night/early morning drive for his mom and dad; he might be ok with his sister there. Who knows? Trips to the park, the library (with a computer for each kid to play on instead of having to share the one at our house), and TGIFridays are planned; arts and crafts, bubble blowing, and playing with the neighborhood kids and Goldens, also. If the weather's warm, we'll spend some time at the nearby municipal airport watching the small planes come and go, and running around a big field right near the plane parking apron. Then we'll have the usual run-and-hide when it's time to go home - I love that they don't want to leave!

Nice day here - snow's mostly gone, but it stuck to the lawns in an adjacent town. It'll be gone in a flash.

Have a great day, all!

I'm celebrating today---I feel so healthy and nothing hurts LOL...not a thing, deltoids are sore but that's about it, and that is a good thing...sculpted shoulders arriving sometime in 2004 :o).

Ok--speaking of healthy, vowing to eat better today.

I have one hour of Jazzercise, and we're doing really fun hip hop and kickboxing routines from the new set, can't wait.
