Good morning.Hope you get some more sleep.Lately I sleep for a few hours and then wake up and can't go back to sleep. It's getting old!!!

I don't know much about Feng Shui.I had a friend who was given a tiny little thing where you rake the gravels/rocks back and forth???She said it was suppose to help you relax. Is it something along those lines? What's the pyramind on the computer suppose to do?I find that interesting.I'd tell the person of my concerns. If it makes you uncomfortable at all then the point of it is lost.

Plans for today include a haircut.I'm kind of hoping for something different. My friend mutters some nonsense about me cutting it all off , being unhappy and then whining. Can you imagine????She must have me confused with someone else. We're hoping another friend shows up and we turn it into a fun get together.I've also discussed giving the friend

who is cutting my hair a couple glasses of wine so I can get a really different look :) We'll see.Workout plans are a run.The rest of the day is all about chickens and domestic stuff. Just another day in the life of a Princess.

Have a goo one!

The idea of the pyramid on the computer (in the office) is for success in business.

Good Rainy Morning. The rain is supposed to move out later on and that is when I will move out for my walk. This morning, I am in major cleaning/laundry mode. AFter my workout this afternoon, I'll be at work for a few hours.

Phyllis, I'm with Patty on the uncomfortableness of the feng stuff.

And, you are doing way too much these days...come on out to Virginia where I could definitely use your help in my workouts, my 15 minute projects and my wine consumption!

Morning, from a soggy NY! Decided to take the day off. Aunt Flo showed up yesterday on schedual and I have tons of cramps. We are pouring outside, with not much hope of it clearing today. I think after I drive Katie to school I will run to the market, and get the makings of some soup. I will make some homemade chicken vegtable soup for dinner. I have plenty to do, between laundry and house cleaning but I also have a book or a magazine calling my name. I have not done well with week with WW but I have not given up. Yesterday was a healthy eating day so that counts and I stayed at 19 points for the day. Lets hope I can do it again today. I am hoping actually to stick within the 20 points today, and Thursday and pray that the scale does not go up but stays the same on Friday morning. I have not walked or gone to Curves this past week, I guess between the PMS, my fighting with my sister, and my general life I feel like the wind was knocked out of my sails. Not good, time to remotivate.......soon! Sassy has been kicking butt these last few days........my hat is off to her. Send some of that power my way, please.

My middle son is due home this afternoon from his 5 days in Florida with my parents. I have missed him. We lost his hamster last night. You had to see us with flash lights looking everywhere. She got out of the ball, and escaped. I called my older son to come help and something told him to look downstairs. He found her down there scared to death. She must have fallen down one of the small holes in the living room floor behind the radiator. This house is old and has lots of cracks, lucky she did not get into the walls. We lost over an hour last night on this escapade.

Phyllis I must agree with the others about this Feng Shui. I have no clue what it is but if you are uncomfortable do not go for it. You care to explain what it is should anyone ask this question to me later on in life? I love you idea of putting your stuff in binders. I have stuff scattered around and that would be nice to have a safe spot, think next time I go to the Staples in town I will get me a new binder. Now to find all those papers I have been ripping out. LOL, I know they are here.

Well everyone have a great day, and stay dry!

Good morning all! Today is Jazzercise after work.

From what I've heard (precious little) the Feng Shui concept is all about energy and keeping it flowing in a positive way throughout your life. It's a little cosmic for me being the skeptic that I am and I don't put much stock in it. I'm with the others on this one Phyllis. If you feel uncomfortable with it, talk with your client and get the low down. The pyramid on top of your computer seems a little weird if you ask me.

The weather is cool and partly cloudy this morning. We've been having little tiny rain storms the past few nights, but this morning was dry. Sadie is improving a bit every day and I think she's going to be OK. We started her on the glucosamine and give her Ascriptin when she's gimping and she is getting better. She actually wagged her tail a little this morning. I guess I worry about her too much, but she's my baby now that the kids are off on their own.

15 minute project today is to get some laundry started and clean out the back of my car. What a mess.

As my DH would say, "Have an Uber day!"

Well, I still feel very bad, but I made myself get up and do another 40 min. powerwalk this a.m. That & getting to work at both jobs everyday & night is about all I can handle these days. Fortunately, I have reduced hours beginning next week. Looking at next month's schedule had a very calming effect on me.

Today begins a new week with WW and I hope to lose another pound by next weigh-in. I did have a little treat this a.m. - a reduced fat biscuit and one of those 1/2 the fat sausage patties. LOL! I think maybe once a month I'll have to have something like that for breakfast. I'll have lots of green veggies, some fruit, yogurt and salmon the rest of the day, though.

I'm already planning my Thanksgiving menu, are you all? I'm going to make my turkey from the Southern Living recipe in this month's issue. I hope S. Living puts more Christmas cookie recipes in their next issue as there was only 1 page of them in this one. I was sulking over that . . . As far as stuffing vs. dressing - I like both! I'm picky about what goes in them, though! I made a great recipe last year for stuffing and it had cranberries and tiny bits of pecans in it, and of course only bread, no cornbread. I always like some plain stuffing, too. I like some sausage in my cornbread dressing. There is nothing better, to me, than a plate full of stuffing or dressing with cranberry sauce. I feel as if I'm in heaven when I'm eating that combo! Out here, people only want that jellied stuff, but I love the berries in my cranberry sauce.

I'd probably feel funny about the pyramid thing, too, Phyllis. There are alot of rituals in the Bible, though. I always wonder . . . You will make the right decision for you, I know.

Have a nice day all!

Reading about your love for a big plate of stuffing and cranberry sauce forces me to admit my favorite Thanksgiving left-over meal...a turkey sandwich piled high with stuffing and cranberry sauce...in the sandwich. My mouth is seriously watering just typing this!

I've been thinking about and pulling recipes for Thanksgiving, too! Still not sure what we're actually doing for Thanksgiving this year, though. Youngest DH is in a Thanksgiving weekend soccer tournament and DH is coaching. It just never ends!

Phyllis - Congratulations on your recent weight loss! You're such a tiny thing, I don't know where you found 4 lbs to lose, but you obviously are feeling good, so go for it!

On the feng shui thing - I never thought about it as possibly keeping "false Gods" before you, and honestly still don't. I just think it's a fun decorating concept. I don't think God is going to disapprove of your incorporating it into your home - especially for someone like you who lives your faith every day.

Sassy - We used to have a food-court place up here (can't remember the name - maybe they still exist elsewhere) that had "the day after" on their menu - a sandwich just like what you described, on fresh-baked bread. Yum....

As a designer, you might think I'd be really into Feng Shui (pronounced fung shway), but I'm not. I guess I fail to see how placement of inannimate objects is going to influence your fortune, health, etc. A lot of it has to do with the pschology of it, and like anything else, if you truly believe, sometimes it can influence you subconsciously to make things happen. That's not to say I have proof it does or doesn't work. It's just my take on it. If you're curious, you could always tell her you'd like to learn more about it, but not necessarily arrange your house that way until you've had more time to think it over.

My neck is acting up today, so I've been taking it kind of easy with lighter housework. I did some heavy scrubbing up high in Rob's bathroom yesterday and may have irritated the disc/nerve thing again. It is so irritating to have to limit my activities so much, but I've learned that I pay the price if I don't.

Tim had to make a day trip to Tampa today, so I'll pick Rob up from jazz band this afternoon, maybe get an early dinner out, then take him to his guitar lesson. As he says, I'm here to serve him. ;-) The weather is beautiful. I may put on the cervical collar and attempt some badly needed raking, but it is one of the worst things I can do with my neck. I think if I could keep my neck straight and totally aligned I might be OK.

Have a good day all!

Rhonda
