I'll pick up my race packet and drive the course on Friday.
Now... anybody got some recommendations for supplements to help stiff joints? I still feel an old injury to my left hip/thigh joint on occasion.
Thanks too, for all your support during my rut. I read every one of your responses and e-mails, and all words and cyberhugs were greatly appreciated, even though I was caught short on time to answer each of you. Per my post under Donna's check in, I believe it's behind me, with Halloween gearing up, planning Allison's birthday, no other committments looming, my car being scheduled to be at the dealership tomorrow (we'll pick it up next week)... and I'm relaxed and enjoying activities again. Still feel a *bit* guilty about the house being chaotic, but it's a one-panger rather than a four-panger! That too will get corrected in the next week.

Excellent going!! The best stuff I've ever heard of for stiff or sore joints is cetyl myristoleate, which I posted about recently. It is amazing stuff.

Re the injury - there are some therapeutic stretches that you can do to strengthen the hip joint, if it's the area I'm thinking it is. Check out this link - I had a problem that behaved like this condition, and I do the exercises shown whenever I feel a painful, almost burning sensation in there - usually after I've been pounding the treadmill for 2 weeks with no significant breaks. After about a week of consistently doing these moves, the pain does lessen. Good luck.
