Workout - 40 min. walk. I might try to do weights & abs tonight.

15 min. project - bake some WW cookie bars - 2 points each - what a bargain!

Thankful for my relationships with God, ds, friends and family.

Have a blockbuster day!

Man, I could use a thrill today. Woke up with a migraine and terrible cramps.Just ovulating and not even doing that since I'm using the ring.I'd love to have one good hot flash to blow out all my estrogen. It's only 8:20 and I'm trying to get my head around a new break out of a chicken disease in the county and DH is thinking of making a job change. It will mean more work time for him, less off time for me, and another life change to deal with. It's days like this I look deep into myself and think....I'm gonna need some chocolate.

Workout: a run to clear the head, trim the thighs and mellow the mood

Thankful:Chocolate has some healthy qualities

15 min project: go buy my chocolate

You're looking for thrills...I'm dodging them! Surely, between the two of us there is a happy medium. Somewhere between chocolate bars and Starbucks lattes. Which reminds me, in an effort to jump ahead of what I think the doc is going to end up saying, I've given up lattes. Yes, sad but true. Truthfully, I'm just sick of coffee and all its baggage, period. You know...sugar and half and half. I had a cup of plain old joe this morning, with some sugar and half and half and I'm just not getting the thrill anymore. So now I'm sucking down some chocolate soy, cottage cheese and fruit. Yippee. Nice and mild and UN-thrilling. My blood pressure can't seem to take the thrills anymore.

Cheers<-saluting my choc soy milk to your chocolate bar

Sassy

Now, here's a thrill...it appears I'm without board upgrades again. Will the thrills never end?????

Morning ladies, if you noticed the time of this post you will realize I am playing hookey again today. Tummy cramps from Aunt Flo and just lots of little things to do. No work out this week just do not have it in me. I promise to head back to Curves and start walking next week after Aunt Flo leaves. Cross my heart! I do miss it. Enough about that. I have eatten well since Monday and I hope that helps with my weigh in tomorrow morning. These 20 points are hard. Last night I was craving sweet and instead of some cookie or cake, I measured out 2 cups of red grapes and I put a tablespoon of the Cool Whip Free ontop, not bad. They completed my 20 for the day.

My thankfuls for this week:

1. My Robbie had a fun 5 days in Florida and make it home from there safe and sound. He flew alone and he had never done that before.

2. I talked with my sister "D" yesterday, we apoligized to each other for yelling and screaming like a bunch of rude kids, and we agreed to let it go. Ended our conversation with "I love you" and she was the one who called me first.

3. Hubby has paid off some of our major credit card bills, leaving me with some breathing room. Being self employed the money does not alway come in on time or steady so this helped alot.

My 15 minute project, well there are tons to do so we will count one of my running errands as this.

Have a great day everyone!!!

Good morning, friends!

Finally - a stretch of gorgeous autumn weather to enjoy through Sunday! What a beautiful day it is here.

Workout today is cardio, and UB and abs - didn't get the whole workout done Wednesday night. I had a phone call from the wee ones when we got home from the grocery store, and they were all aflutter with thanks for our Halloween cards to them. I couldn't cut them short. I wish I could tape these calls!!!

Thankful for:

1) My health - I was saying to someone recently that this is the best I've felt in many years. May it continue.

2) My DH - a source of calm and strength.

3) My family - a strong grounding force.

4) Gorgeous weather.

Phyllis - This week is not really flying past. I thought yesterday was Thursday; imagine my surprise, and disappointment, when I realized it wasn't. The end of daylight savings has kind of thrown me off.

Have a great day, everyone!

Great that you and your sister cleared the air, no matter who called who (JMO, but I felt she owed you that one). A nice way to start the end of the week - oops, wait, it's not Friday yet...durn....

Don't forget to stop for a breath of air today!
