I'm feeling very colorful and festive tonight, although a bit tired.
I can hardly believe it, but the Gators managed to upset the 4th ranked Georgia Bulldogs today in what is billed as "The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party!" This rivalry is a MAJOR event and people started celebrating back last Thursday or Friday. The parking lot becomes an RV city.

I was invited to a tailgate party at the stadium today, but spent 7 hours working on the RWCDF newsletter instead. It's a good thing Tim helped me or I couldn't have done it. There are lots of tricks to it, but once you know them, it's not so hard --just time consuming. We bought a better printer/scanner/copier tonight even though ours is only about a year old. This one has a flat bed, so I can copy from books or copy small objects without them getting stuck and has a much higher resolution for reproducing pictures. I'm pretty excited about it.
Rob went over to spend the night with a friend, so Tim and I went to Olive Garden where I got the salmon picotta and roasted veggies, very good. We got there just ahead of some of the Gator fans either coming from the stadium or from watching the game at home the way we did.
If everything works out, we're taking Rob and a friend surfing tomorrow, so it'll be our first time at the beach in a few weeks. Sure hope we can go.
The Red Hat Society (La-Tea-Da's) luncheon yesterday was SO fun!! We had 106 women, mostly in costume, that were just a riot.

Well, if I were you I'd sue too!
That's not a dumb question at all. It really depends on the weather and the water currents. So far, we're having a warm fall. Rob wants to get a wet suit, but I'm not thrilled about him going in water that gets too cold even with a wet suit or spring suit on. His head, hands, and feet would still be exposed, and he gets pretty bad respiratory infections like I do in cold, damp conditions. When he was small he had asthma, so I'm still pretty protective about that.

Time invested in improving ourselves cuts down on time disapproving of others.

The La-Tea-Da's sound like a fun group. And I love the t-shirt. I might have to order one for myself. I could wear it to bed and scare the crap out of DH...
