Good morning, everyone.Sunny and beautiful here today.Love it but kind of envious of those who have some snow!!
I would love to just be lazy all day but that would mean extra work tomorrow, BU**ER!Need to work in CL and maybe run out for a few groceries, already have some laundry going.Planning on going outside later this morning for a good run.I'm thinking of taking an idea I got from a post from Phyllis. She talked about a notebok she put together with her dream home ideas in it.I may take the most motivating fitness articles and photos, put them in a notebook and use it as my journal.
Sassy and BNL , I hope you both are headache free today.Rhonda, enjoy the beach. It's strange to read about Rhonda going to the beach and Nancy having snow!Hope everyone has a healthy, happy day!!

Today, I will head out for a long powerwalk. I'm not sure I want to try to run as last night my left ankle was acting strange - kind of felt like it was dislocated as I was walking around in Dillard's. Hopefully, it will be fine today.
I must clean my house today. I'm going to SS first, though. Later tonight, I am going to a small dinner party. Some friends continue trying to set me up with someone, but to no avail. I keep telling them that things like this can't be forced. When it's meant to be it's meant to be . . . I'm going to try to eat very light this a.m. and lunch so I have about 12 points to play with . . . still not counting in activity points so I should be fine. Also, one other lady at the party tonight is on the plan so I will ask her discreetly what she plans to eat.
I'm going to be upset if I haven't lost any lbs. at WW tomorrow. My scale shows I've lost 3 lbs. total since I started WW plan.
Have a blessed Sunday, everyone.
It's another summer like day here again. We had to sleep with the window open last night although I woke up about 1:30 and didn't really get back to sleep until much before dawn so I'm a little on the sleepy side. My washer is whirring away in the background here and everyone else is asleep-seems to be the norm around here on Sunday morning. I have a manicure appointment later in the morning, a trip to the mall to return something I bought for DD.
I am on an absolute mission to clean out my basement. I'm toying with the idea of buying a treadmill. DS has someone at the bike and fitness store where he works who is selling his very fancy top of the line treadmill that's only been used about 5x and still under warranty and some extra cash from our escrow account when we refinanced our house. But before I can get it down here there is a serious disaster down here that maybe I can use the treadmill as my motivation to get it straightened up, tossed out and made a better living space. Unfortunately I have to get my 2 biggest pack rats to quit bringing home more stuff and organize and get rid of their stuff or someone I know is going to do it for them!
Anyway, not sure what's on the workout agenda-may have to do like Nancy and just do it and remember how good I'll feel afterwards.
Thanks for your good thoughts Patty-headaches are fewer between and lasting less time and nothing this morning so hoping for another good day!
Hope your Sunday is a good one!
Susan
Good morning everyone-
I'm ready to do something after sitting around watching the football game yesterday afternoon.

There's a workout in my near future - I'll be heading to the basement in a few minutes for cardio and weights.
There's a couple loads of laundry awaiting action, then bills, then dusting - all of which I can do today uninterrupted by football, since the Patriots are on Monday vs the Broncos.
There's also begging and pleading with DH to dispose of the newspapers - either that, or out-and-out screaming and yelling. Nothing infuriates me more than this particular pack-rat manifestation. I'm sick of them. And if I do bundle them up for recycling, he'll just pull them apart and go through them in an annoyingly slow, precise fashion; he's done it before. What the h%*^ is the deal with guys and old news????? Susan and Margie -I'm in your camp on this subject. I'm half-smiling as I write; but it's the frowning half that's taking over.
Saturday on Cape Cod was a lovely day. I'm still on a lamp quest, though - everything we saw was just a bit too beach-cottagey. The only lamps I saw that I liked were in an upscale handicraft shop - and I wasn't about to spend that kind of money for them. Lovely, but more artistic statement than practical lighting.
Have a great day, everyone!

Then I work this afternoon at the computer -- 3 hours of non-active activity.
Plus tomorrow morning I'm traveling home during the time I would otherwise be at Kickboxing and then Strong Women class.
So I'm feeling a bit in suspended animation.
My sunny Sunday plans are half done now.

I also made it all the way through aerobics class without any nasty coughing spells from that cold that has lingered on. She really worked us hard - with weights and legs.
