Good morning! I think a lot of my exercise will be "running" from appt. to appt. today.

Top 3:

1. Got in a good bit of walking this week and made a really good start on my Christmas and Rob's birthday shopping.

2. Got the new printer/scanner/copier with photo software and learned some new things with that to make the

Good morning!Another sunny warm day here.I listened to Christmas music as I sweated thru my weights last night.I want some snow!!!

Today I have a bunch of things to get done but also have to wait around for the service guy to show up.I hate having to wait on other people to show up.Yesterday my whole day was pretty much about eveyone elses schedule, very frustrating. It was so much fun to stop and work on my notebook and focus on what I was going to do for myself. It at least gave me some feeling of control over things.

Ok, today I hope to get a longer run in.Hope to move some to do's over to the done list.

3 positives:1)service guy called to apologize yesterday about something earlier in the day.Helped soothe this growers feathers 2)A friend helped me see something from a different persprective which helped me be a better friend 3)Taking good steps towards better health

Have a great day everyone!

I'm going to get back into UB weights today and abs crunches with my guy Tony after several weeks off. I sprinted yesterday and still feel a tight muscle in my hip from the race, so no leg work. Allison's got story time at the library this morning, we're meeting up with a friend for a free preview of Boing, a kids' activity emphasizing play, physical activity, and they even offer some sort of gymnastics. I've got to make some cupcakes for Al's Mom's Morning Out class tomorrow - I signed up since it'll be her birthday this weekend. She also wants to go to our neighborhood playground today, so we'll squeeze that in.

Top 3: Finishing the race Saturday; the new car; a renewed enthusiasm for the everyday things.

Good Morning all.

Top 3:

1. Feeling better.

2. "Taming my Tongue" has been easier than I thought. I feel more calm, the household is more calm.

3. Kicked butt in the work office yesterday and really got a lot done.

Had a good workout yesterday afternoon. We all went trail riding. And it was difficult. I was beat! I can still tell something is going on with my health, though. But I hope to hear more about that this week.

No workout planned today. Off and running with "life".

Hugs.

Sassy :)

Hello all! The powerwalk is done and the day has begun. Have to work tonight and will miss ds' last football game, but everytime I miss it something spectacular happens! Last week was his interception & 100 yard run to score. Hopefully, only good will happen tonight. His dad will be there, so it won't be bad for the child.

Top 3:

1. I have been having some good heart to hearts with God - need to do even more of that . . .

2. Had a nice time last night cooking for us. Even read myself to sleep!

3. I've "shot 4 turkeys" since beginning the WW plan. Over at the WW board we are shooting turkeys before Thanksgiving & I signed up to lose 10 lbs. (therefore shoot 10 turkeys). Need to work hard to get those other 6 shot!

I'm going to have to up the cardio and pay particular attention to portion size/journaling from now until Thanksgiving. Also, our annual breakfast party at Dillard's is in 3 weeks! The breakfast is catered and is SO delicious. Oh boy!

Have a great day everyone.

I did some thing stupid and lost this whole message. You'd never know I do message boards for a living.

I'm totally happy to be home after 3 days in Providence -- had a great nights sleep to make up for 3 so-so nights. Plan to do a full workout today, cardio and weights, and spent as long as I like in the gym.

Positive things, huh? Hmmmm....

1. Being home, back with my DH in my own home. Lit a fire in the woodstove (our primary heat) for the first time this year, and Lindy (my DH) had cleaned the window and the fire looked cozy and wonderful.

2. Bought a buttload of containerage at Target with which I plan to organize the kids' arts and crafts workshop. If I do a good job, they'll be able to clean it up without my help! (Do I live in a dream world, or what? Hey, it's nice here.)

3. Since I bought a nice new walkman, I can have Harry Potter keep me company on the treadmill today!

(My husband just looked over my shoulder and said, "What's DH?" "Darling Husband." "Gee, I thought it meant 'designated hitter' -- silly me!" "Same difference."

Anyway, that's my plan for the day!

Mornin' all. Yesterday's workout was so great, I think I'll repeat the Jazz class tonight, maybe a step class later too. I dunno. Seems like the only time I feel worth a hoot anymore is when I'm exercising. Hormones are driving me around the bend this month (heck for the last 3 months). Fortunately, my doc was able to get me in today at noon so we'll see what he has to say about the whole mess. I've had it up to my eyeballs with being a witch. Halloween is officially over.

Top 3 positives:

????

Having a hard time with that today.

Lori, I had what seemed like endless days of PMS this month when I was just snapping at everybody. Then I'd think, What the hell is wrong with me? Is something really bothering me? And I couldn't think of any deep-seeded reason to be unhappy. I finally realized it was hormones, and that helped, but I really related to your words, "had it with being a witch!" Good luck at the Dr.; I hope you find some strategies for coping.

Mornin'Ladies

Slept better than I have in awhile. Maybe it was that 10 miles last night! Still have to have the window open at night as the wacky weather continues. 77 degrees here yesterday!

Workout depends on whether I'm tutoring this evening. If I am that doesn't put me back in the house until 9PM so probably just a good stretch. If not then...well I'll figure that out later after the work day is over.

Top Three:

1. Made some positive headway into the clutter situation in the basement. I found an organization to take kid's books for a library at the Dept. of Social Services, a box for Goodwill and lots of boxes and bags headed out the door for the trash...without anything reappearing!

2. Feeling better physically and emotionally than the past 2 weeks.

3. A new grandnephew born yesterday...Jack Anthony 9lbs 6 oz.

Hope everyone has a terrific Tuesday!

Susan
