Thank you, Margie! You don't hear too many people telling you they're proud of you for much once you pass age 15 or so. I appreciate it.

Not only am I going to have to post a picture of the new room, I have to do my whole website over - I've been vaporized! A perfect excuse for me to use some current pictures of DH and me. I wish my sister and BIL weren't so wary of the internet; I'd love to post pics of the kids, but I won't step on their toes to do it. I'll just bring them with me to Asheville (the pics, not the kids), or have them handy for your next happy visit to MA.

Donna,

Just wanted to add my congratulations on your weight loss and hard work! You're really doing great!

You're bedroom does sound really warm and cozy! I bought a new comforter set several months ago with gold and red and green. Unfortunately I've been looking for a volunteer from the audience to help me with the painting but so far no one has stepped forward! But I do have paint samples taped all over the wall!

Thanks, Susan! It's really funny to me. The thing I expected to have trouble with - the eating program - has been remarkably easy to stick with. As far as exercise is concerned, I finally am doing it faithfully and missing it when I don't, but my first instinct or preference is to grab a book, magazine, or pile of catalogues and head for the cushy chair in the living room and pass the time reading. Can't do that all the time, though, so I just try for 4 solid workouts a week and a couple of incidentals just to keep my pulse beating.

I'm glad to hear you and Otto are sharing meaningful walks. I'd offer to come help you paint, but you'd be sorry. I'd like to say we did it all ourselves, but the truth of the matter is the walls were kind of a mess after we took down the old wallpaper and we had to call in the experts to get them in shape before the painting could happen.

On waiting for volunteers - don't wait for them, draft them!

Have a good night!

Congratulations on your continued success with SBD, Donna! You've done so well and are reaping the rewards. I'd also love to see a picture of your bedroom when it's complete. Enjoy!
