Good morning! We have weather watchers on our local news who report in on what the weather is like in each town. This morning our towns weather watcher was on reporting we were in for a hard long winter. He then held up a wooly worm to back up his prediction!Sheeshy pete!!!!I don't know which worries me more, the possibility of a hard long winter or my town!!!Either way I'm thinking of moving!!!!

Ok, lots of stuff to get done today and inbetween I need to do a run and some LB body work.I had the best run yesterday, felt so good.Need more like it.Still somewhere between fluff and buff.Working towards buff.

Top three;

1)DH and DS weren't hurt last night.

2)My life is filled with very special people

3)There is still a chance the wooly worm could be wrong...

Phyllis, congrats on the book!!That is awesome!!!!

Good Morning.

I'm sick. That's not a positive. Have a horrible cold. Bleck. But I'm up and going. DH's last day at home today. Back to work for him tomorrow and back to regular life for me. No workout today. Doctor's appointment tomorrow morning so I'll wait until I get all the word, if any, from her.

Positives:

1. My husband has been taking great care of me and our family these last few days. Our marriage is definitely on a peak and it's been nice.

2. I have really been "taming my tongue" and seeing a huge difference in home life and just in me.

3. Have actually dropped a few pounds the last two weeks trying to keep up with DH and low carbing it. Have felt better and Im sure it's because of the carb issue.

Later, ladies.

Sassy :)

They hit a deer on the highway last night.Neither was hurt but the truck is not driveable.Plus they had to sit on the highway for over an hour for the police come.

Sorry to hear about your cold but loved reading your positives.Very good things!!!

Good morning everyone!

Phyllis! What book? What did I miss? Good for you!

Rhonda, you should have been wearing your pedometer this week. I'd love to see how many miles you got in walking.

Patty: Woolly worms (or Woolly Bears as we call them) are very rarely wrong. It's a proven, semi-scientific fact and well-known wives' tale that the width of that Woolly Bear's stripe is an indicator of the harshness of the winter in that neck of the woods. If your Woolly worm is callin' for a tough winter, you'd better batten down the hatches. And what the heck happened with your DH and DS?

I have another cold too Sassy, so let's both take care and eat lots of soup and get better. Hope your doc has good news for you today. It was really ugly yesterday, but I'm a little better today. At least I don't feel like my head is going to drop off my shoulders anymore. Yesterday, my head felt like it weighed 50 pounds. Hmmm....I wonder if I lost any weight overnight?

Today's workout is a power lounge with da bears. I'm tired of being sick and I'm not going to push my luck today. I'll get in a short walk with the dogs of course but nothing too strenuous. Maybe I'll actually finish the laundry.

Top 3 positives for the week:

1. My uncle's funeral wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I was dreading it and it wasn't bad.

2. Hormones seem to have settled a bit. It's probably all in my head right now, but I'm counting it.

3. Chocolate is still widely available on the open market.

Have a super day.

LOL Love your #3 positive. Thank goodness for that!!!!

Are you sure about the woolly worms????Do you know what I could be like by March, heck even February????It won't be pretty.

Dh hit a bear last night.Looks like about $4000.00 worth of damage to go pick up $8.00 worth of pizza.Sheesh some days it really doesn't pay to push the cat off your face.;)

Hope you feel better soon.Lots of chicken soup!
