Good Windy Morning.

High wind advisory in affect here today thru Friday morning. We might even have snow flurries today. Loving this weather!

No workout for me. Off to the office early for the day. I'm way behind and need to get caught up. 'Course I'm way behind at home, too. No plans to get caught up here since I'll be at church all day Saturday, too. Lying in bed this morning I started panicking about all I need to do for Christmas. I'm usually mostly done with my shopping by the end of November and I've barely started. DH's birthday is 11/20. I think I'm getting him a watch. Not sure yet. Taking lots of deep breaths today! I'll feel better once I get a handle on the work situation. I think I'm going to stop checking my work e-mail first thing in the morning. Had 17 work e-mails this morning all with tasks for me involved.

So....my thankfuls (I have too many to list), but I'll put a few:

1. DH and I are having a wonderful up period.

2. Ruling out health issues one by one (and my cold is clearing up).

3. Taming the tongue is still making a huge difference...so I'm thankful for my Pastor and his guidance (through the work of the Holy Spirit).

4. I have the coolest kids :)

5. Thankful for my "sounding" board here...I know that I can come to you all with anything and everything and get good advice, love and just an ear!

Sassy<-looking forward to a busy day :)

Hey workout divas!

It's going to be a great day here in the heartland. We have chilly breezes at about 30 mph gusting up to 50 mph or so I'm told by weatherman Brad. Yippee. Really put a solid hold on my hair gel this morning.

My cold has officially taken my voice away. Not everyone is as upset about this as I am for some reason. Anyway, this cold stinks just as bad as the last dozen I've had this year. I'm fed up with this stuff.

Probably no workout tonight although I am tempted. I'd probably just cough all the way through it anyway, but I might go.

My thankfuls:

1. I married a man who is funny and knows how to bring me out of a schlump.

2. My dogs know when to cuddle and when to back-off.

3. I'm thankful for my job which I love in a time that so many are looking for work of any kind.

4. Once again, I'm thankful that chocolate is still available on the open market. Just had to throw that one in.

Have a goo day everyone!

Good Morning,

Phyllis congratulations on the new clients! I know how you love your hour of power but I know you'll find it there somewhere!

It is a very windy morning here too in NY! Workout-well slept right through the 5:30 wakeup call. I will have to try for this evening.

Thankfuls:

1. A wonderful conversation with a friend who's made me do some good thinking.

2. Blood pressure medications that seems to be working and thanks to the dr who's been working to find the right combination for me.

3. The women of this board who I'm thankful for on a daily basis.

Good morning, everyone....

AF has landed with a mighty thud - I'm on the verge of tears, I snapped at DH before the sun was up (adding to my desire for a good cry) for something completely stupid concerning clutter, and I really don't want to be at work today because I can't stop looking at the schedule for the next month and wondering where Thanksgiving and Christmas are going to fit in. I've been sitting on my hands for the last two weeks waiting for a deadline - now they're all coming at once. Typical.....

Obviously, I'm not feeling thankful or positive at the moment. Hopefully, this will pass before sundown - it would be nice if it would pass within the next 10 minutes, but that's looking doubtful.

Will check in later....

I find it is often helpful to just sit down and have a good cry. Did that on the way to the grocery store yesterday. Felt it coming, pulled over, rested my forehead on the steering wheel and just got it all out. Felt much better after.

Hope you you're feeling better (physically AND mentally) soon!

Hugs.
