Nancy, I'm going to change my highlights next time.I had brown and blonde highlights put in last time and this time I'm going with more brown and less blonde.I had played with the idea of all darker but not sure how I'd like that. But I would kind of like to just try it.Let us know what you do.
I have natural blonde highlights - you know, the ones that happen when "medium warm brown" gives up at the roots. The "blonde" hair just twinkles in the sunlight (or under the fluorescent lights in the office).
Glad you're happy with the cut. I never like my haircut until it has had a week or so to grow out a bit. I'm in the I'm-growing-my-hair-out-long-one-more-time-before-I'm-too-old stage right now. We'll see how long that lasts. Usually happens this time of year.
Anyway, auburn sounds nice. I used to color my hair a nice light auburn and it was beautiful in the sunshine. Enjoy!
I've been all over the place with color and style lately. When the gray really started getting pronounced I colored my hair to match my hair color which is really dark brown almost to the point of looking black-but after changing stylists she convinced me that it was way too dark. I'm now back to an auburn color with a splash of red in it. I've since had to darken it a bit since the lighter color was making the gray show up much sooner. I'm now back to a deep auburn with red and I've actually been keeping my hair longer. I keep saying I'm going to go back to short because of the convience but I've had short hair almost my entire life so I've been enjoying the longer look and the way it's cut it's not all that much styling just takes longer because I have such thick hair. I never can do my hair like they do even though it looks so easy while they're doing it!
