That gloomy weather is here, too. Lots of rain due in overnight and into Thursday, and stormy skies through Saturday. Ugh. Time to crank up the dehumidifier in the basement again.
The new stove came this morning. The vendor, delivery staff, and installer were so prompt, everything was done by 8:30 and I was able to come to work after all. I guess that's called a mixed blessing. All we need is a 3-prong adapter to fit the plug behind the stove (which I never knew was there), and we'll be cooking with gas (literally). Boy, the area under and behind the stove can take on the look of a hazardous waste site over 30 years' time! At least now, with flexible tubing instead of fixed pipe, I'll be able to move the stove enough to clean there more often. Yeah, right!
Workout tonight after a quick dinner out and trip to Home Depot for said adapter will be cardio and weights. Will do the 1-hr burnoff of the oven while I'm downstairs so the smell will be less intense. Doors and windows to be open for a while for DH's comfort.
Good Afternoon Everyone,
It's a beautiful day here.

I've had that hair thing happen too. It's so weird how things work out.
We got a lot of rain and wind, but luckily,

I blew off my Wednesday workout. Instead I worked late, played a bit on my web page, and then went to the teacher appreciation reception put on by the local military command. It was good, and I'm so glad I went early enough to be there for the opening remarks and stuff. Since I have to plan the farewell reception for my boss for next month, I figured I needed to get some good ideas as to what to do and what not to do. I ate a little too much, but didn't do too bad, all things (and foods) considered, and only had two drinkies and a couple of glasses of water. Now I know what we shouldn't serve at our reception.....the sacrifices we make for our jobs......
