Cardio and abs this morning. Then off to the office to get some things done. To the grocery store after work to pick up cake-bakin' stuff for DH's birthday cake. That's my day. Hope you all have a great one!

Hugs

Good Morning

As the week progresses I find it a little harder each morning to get up bright and early but did manage to get 30 minutes on the treadmill.

Off to work in a while after a few chores to finish up around here. I still don't know what we're doing for Thanksgiving so I'll make up the menu and a grocery list this evening. Sure wish someone would let me know!

Thankful Thursday thankfuls:

1. Vacation days coming up

2. A big comfy couch to curl up on after a very hectic day.

3. My Ford Focus that I love to drive and gets me from here to there.

Have a good day everyone!

Today is my annual exam at the gyn. Yippee. I'm so looking forward to it....NOT.

Might make today a rest day. Been going hot and heavy at the Jazzercise for a few days and I'm feeling it today.

Thankfuls:

1. My friends and family whom I love dearly.

2. Free long distance on my cell phone.

3. Chocolate.

Good morning, everyone!

Workout tonight is cardio and weights. Did cardio and abs last night and made like Scarlett O'Hara with the weights - "There's always tomorrow."

Thanksfuls:

1) New mattress

2) New stove and EASY operating directions

3) DH's and my jobs, which allows us to buy and cook healthy food - my BIL once said it costs a lot of money to feed a family healthy meals, and he's dead right about that.

4) That I didn't fall in the bathtub last night like DH did a few months back. I slipped on the mat the same way he did, but was able to snap myself back up. Whether that caused a problem, I'll know by tomorrow.

Have a great day, everyone! Lori, I hope something good happens for you to lighten your heart a bit.

I took the day off from work to spend it with my grandmother, Memaire. She has an appointment this afternoon to get another hearing aid. Thought I'd take her to Kmart and out to lunch beforehand, she tires easily.

Doing Yoga tonight, 30 mins.

1. SO HAPPY, I'm doing the Flylady thing, and while decluttering in my bedroom I found a picture of my other grandmother, Noni, that passed away 10 years ago. This is the last picture my dad took of her before she died. I'd been looking for it for about 10 years, since we bought this house, it was in an envelope in the bottom of my dresser drawer.

2. Cold seltzer water.

3. My DH and DD, and of course all of our critters.

4. Finding this board.

I already did the KS LWLW video...it felt good to sweat. Hoping to do some treadmill today...my foot feels really good. Just a little achy, but no more limp! Tomorrow I go to the podiatrist...it is the combo check on foot and presurgical visit for other foot.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your back, Phyllis. The two days off should help. You are one busy woman today...actually, you always have busy days.

I have so many things to be grateful for...I don't know where to start.

1-The most important is my healthy wonderful family...understanding DH, 4 grown children and their spouses or significant other, 5 precious grandchildren. Everything else pales in comparison.

2-Thankful for the good feeling I have been having the past couple of weeks...I am motivated, feeling healthy, keeping on track and seeing some weight loss.

3-Thankful sonogram showed everything is ok...just what I thought.

4-Thankful we are in a time of our life where we are comfortable and we don't have to worry about making ends meet. We can start to do the things we were waiting to do.

There is more, but I will start with that.

Hello, Susan...for someone who had a hard time getting up, you did a great workout before work. You even did it with still having things to do around the house.

I like your things to be grateful for. Glad to hear you have some vacation time coming up...a good time for renewal before the holliday rush.

Hope your Thanksgivng plans firm up soon. All I know is that I am cooking...still don't know how many people will be here. Either way, it will be small.

Good luck at the gyn...been there myself just recently. Good idea to take a day of rest if you are sore from Jazzercize

Glad to hear you saved yourself from falling in the tub. That could have been nasty. It does seem that we don't feel the afereffects for a day or two also. Hope you didn't pull anything.

Have a good day and enjoy your stove.

Hope you have a good day too! Enjoy Dh's birthday celebration. What kind of cake are you making? I can dream about it.
