Talked to my Mom today. Grandma is about the same as she was but her color is much better and she's taking fluids. She has enough energy to be witchy and difficult and make my Mom feel guilty for not being there with her 24/7. I feel for Mom and this whole mess. She's in such a mess with her sister being sick in bed with the flu and not able to help. There isn't anyone else to help either. Mom is really feeling bad but what else can she do? She says Grandma is really getting to her.

I love my Grandma. But she can be a royal pain sometimes since she went to the home about 5 years ago. She goes through bouts of depression and feeling sorry for herself. Heck, we all do that, but she plays it. Which leads me to believe that she may very well be on the mend and we have a close call on our hands. But I'm not there to see for myself.

Anyway, thanks for your thoughts. I know Grandma would appreciate it very much.

That is good that G'ma is doing a little better. Sorry your mom has to go through so much by herself.

As Dh always remarks...he knows I am feeling better when I start complaining about the house or how he does things. Poor family...I will try not to drive them crazy after my second surgery Dec 5th.

Take care. I do hope your shoulder stays strong for your mom to lean on.
