Good Morning.

It's over cast this morning. Not sure what that's all about. I thought it was going to be nice today. I have tulips to plant. We ordered some while we were in The Netherlands and they have arrived. Started planting some yesterday.

No scheduled exercise for me today. DD has a soccer scrimmage and DH is taking her to that. I gave our bedroom and bathroom a thorough, to include windows, cleaning yesterday and today I'll tackle another room or two. Probably the dining room and kitchen. Laundry is always on my list of things to do.

This morning I'm sitting here pulling together my Thanksgiving shopping list. We're going to a friend's house where there will be about 20 of us. I'm bringing a pumpkin pie, an apple pie, corn pudding and kaluha sweet taters. But I'm also going to fix us our own Thanksgiving meal to have here. The Friday, Saturday & Sunday following Thanksgiving two of our children are in an all-stars soccer tournament about 45 minutes away from here. The weather usually drops into the 30's and 40's and we have rain and sleet for this tournament. Not sure what they are callin' for this year!

Phyllis, hope you and Johnny will enjoy lots of quality time together today ;)

That's my day. Hope you have a Super Sunday.

Sassy

Good Morning,

It's a beautiful day here in NY! I went to early church this morning and DD prepared a scrambled egg breakfast this morning. I'm always teasing her about her domestic side and lack thereof so she decided to show me she does have a little bit in her! Quite tasty I might add although her father was standing over her shoulder critiquing so in her words they weren't quite up to par!

I will be making my trip to Costco this morning and I need to get to the fruit and vegetable store. The rest of the day I'll be roasting peppers and cooking my pumpkin and firming up what everyone would like for the Thanksgiving meal.

As far as a workout think I'll either get outside for a walk or jump on the treadmill while the cooking is going on.

Phyllis hope your reunion with Johnny was wonderful!

Hope everyone was a Super Sunday!

Last night's dinner made me think!

I figured you'd already gotten your workout in. ;-) Last night when I read the posts about him, I kept thinking of the song, "When Johnny Comes Marching Home." That was one of the patriotic songs kids used to learn in elementary school music class. Wonder if they still do. It's a shame if they don't. Anyway, hope you have a wonderful day!
