It's about 50 degrees here this morning. Overcast. Callin for rain. Again. Grrrrrrrr. But I have too much to do this week to let the weather bug me.
Workout today will be on the treadmill. Then some abs, biceps and triceps. Have tons to do this week. Had a hitch thrown in already as the furnace is "sputtering" or something so I have to wait around for the heating guy this afternoon. Completely took out of the picture some shopping time for the week. This afternoon was my only opportunity to get out and shop.
Already decided that I'm going to eat what I want on Thanksgiving and just kick up my workouts.
Stay warm, cool and/or dry depending on where you live!
Hugs
Sassy :)
I'm so glad this week is finally here. I need a pumkin pie fix!!!I need for the official start of the holiday season to get here. I'm ready to deck the halls!!
I'm feeling alittle wierd today. I'm actually in a mood to clean and straighten.I'm going to start with my kitchen.I want to get some new candles and put them on my table. No matter how busy this season gets I'm going to make time for peaceful moments. For a workout it's a run and weights.I had the best run yesterday, really worked on my speed.I felt like such a jock when I got done!!
Hope you all have a great start to a brand new week!!!!

I'm definitely ready to start decking the halls, too. Already have two pumpkin pies in the freezer :) We're in sad, sad shape, aren't we?????
Have a great day today, Patty-cakes.

Here is a fast, delicious, guilt-free version of pumpkin pudding from the SBD Board that will provide a temporary pumpkin pie fix for a VBP. Even Tim and Rob loved it.
Luscious Pumpkin Pudding:
1 pkg. (5.1 oz) vanilla instant pudding
1 can (12 oz) fat-free evaporated milk
1 can (15 oz) pumpkin pie filling
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
Beat together pudding & milk. Refrigerate 5 minutes. Mix in pumpkin & spice. Refrigerate 10 minutes. Makes 8 servings. Enjoy!

It's Monday and I'm not going to work well at least at the office! It's a vacation day but don't think I'll be doing any vacationing as I already have a list a mile long with a few by the way Mom if you're going past....! DD's birthday is Thanksgiving Day so I need to get a birthday gift and card and some new holiday scented candles in anticipation of decking the halls. A manicure is on the list today and I'm going to buy my holiday cards. DD has offered while she's home recuperating from her surgery the first week in December to help with the cards. This afternoon will involve me and a sadly underused vaccum. I guess that about sums up the day.
But before all the running around begins I'm going to get on the treadmill and pick up my weights.
Hope you all have a mighty fine Monday!

-2 degrees. Yippee...winter is finally here.
As of yet, I have no plans for Thanksgiving other than roasting a bird and watching a parade or game or two. I think I'll call Dad and see what he's doing...haven't talked with him in a while.
Today's workout: You guessed it, Jazzercise after work. I wish I could get into the morning workout routine on a regular basis. But getting up at 400am to get going in time to get to the 545am class seriously cramps my style...that and I don't really have time to get cleaned up before I have to be at work. That's not good either. I've thought about doing other things in the morning, but that never seems to happen.
So we're cold and wintery and blechy here today. If you find a place like that Phyllis, let me know and I'll meet you there.
Patty and Sassy--You might have been proud of me on saturday. I went to do a little shopping and found myself humming a Christmas song. I blame my weakened immune system, but the holiday bug bit me and for a few minutes, I was enjoying it.
Have a great day!

It's just under 70 and mostly sunny here, cold enough for me. I hope you guys in the north and west stay cozy. Also, for those in the upper midwest where the snow storm hit, I hope you're warm and not snowed in. Take care on those streets and sidewalks.
I'm making a run out to Macclenny to take down the Fest. of Trees decorations.

Brisk and cold and sunny today. No workouts this week - severe lower-back muscle spasm sent me to the ER Sunday morning, and I'm on Norflex (muscle relaxant), with a prescription for Percoset if the pain gets really bad (I filled the script, but I think I'm just going to take the Norflex and Advil). Hopefully everything will start feeling normal by TG day. I'm more comfortable standing and walking around than sitting, so TG food prep shouldn't be too painful. I'll start very light stretching TG day while the bird is in the oven. Nothing else.
In spite of inactivity since Thursday/Friday and Tex-Mex for dinner Saturday (yes, I had some chips and salsa), my weight is holding steady.
Have a good day, everyone!
