Whew, Deb...I got tired reading what all you did today! You have such a variety of things going on. Soup sounds yummy!

I wouldn't be mad if someone nominated me, tried to get in touch with me and couldn't, and sent it in anyway. You tried and it for a good cause. I think she would understand if you are getting close to the deadline. Most peopled nominated for stuff don't know about it ahead of time. Good luck with that.

Talk about busy!!Deb, you are one busy lady.I think it's an honor to nominate someone.I'd be flattered.

I had a good day though didn't accomplish alot.I got my run in early, still need to go do some weights.Saw some pics of my friends new granddaughter, so beautiful!!!I ran out of time before I could really get into the house cleaning mode. Oh, well, hopefully it will strike me another day.I called Mom and told her I would take care of the pie for Thanksgiving.I need to bake a cherry one for Dhs birthday tomorrow.Thankfully the cherished family recipe will cover both :)

Ok, so tell me again why it is you Jazzercise? With all that running around and all the activities you're involved in, how do you find the time or energy?

What is assiago and why is it infused in your sourdough?

I love soup in the cold weather. We made chili this weekend that would peel the paint off the walls. It smells so good bubbling in the pot.

I got plenty done on monday since my boss is out of town. Hoping for another day of the same today.

Asiago is cheese, which makes bread very good.

Even though it's an honor, the correct thing to do is to get the nominee's permission before you submit her name. She may think nothing of it, but that's correct protecol for a nomination.

Sounds as though you've gotten into the holiday swing of things bigtime. Good for you for being so involved in your community! It's very gratifying, isn't it?

I went out to Macclenny to pick up all the decorations and stuff from the Festival of Trees. One woman bought the entire set of dishes, glasses, and salt and pepper shakers and another bought the red charger plates. I had so many women who wanted those red plates! So, I was able to recoup of bit of the expenses I incurred for that. I believe our club is going to buy the tree decorations I bought and donate them to the local Republican Party for a tree at headquarters. I was so psyched about this year's festival that I've already

Hmmmm...I feel guilty if I'm sitting and not doing something all the time?

Absolutely no children on the floor during a class. The older ones (10 and up I think) can be in class if they have a parent with them. Good grief! I'd have those kids outta there in a heartbeat. I run into the other students all the time, I can't imagine how horrible would feel if I stepped on someone's child. The owner of the studio also told me that her insurance doesn't cover kids in class unless there is a parent in class with them. We've had a few tussles over this one and some people storm out angry because there a) wasn't a babysitter available or b) the babysitter in question was unable to keep the children in the sitting room and c) the parent wasn't willing to put their kids first and take them home if they were unhappy.

If you can't tell, I babysit 3 times a week. It's a good gig and I get free Jazzercise for it. I have mostly the same kids all the time, but once in a while I'll get the odd one that doesn't work out. I do my best and gently suggest to the parent that maybe another arrangement might be better. It's not always well-received but I do remind them that I have the child's welfare at heart. That usually cools them down.
