Kind thoughts, muscle relaxants, sitting on pillows, and finally sleeping soundly have helped the boo-boo. I'm still a bit stiff, but I'm also moving a little more freely. And I'm remembering to get up and move about after sitting for 1/2 hour or so.

Maybe I can hit the treadmill by Thursday after all - gently, not like a house on fire - while the bird is roasting.

Thanks to all of you again!

So glad to hear you're doing better. Take it easy.

Glad to hear you are doing better, Donna! Muscle spasms in the back can be so painful but, it is good to know that they will heal and not cause permanent damage.

Take it easy with your first workout. At PT, they use heat on the muscles before exercise and then cold after you stretch out. Give it a try to see if it helps. Moving around is good...helps losen things up.

Hope you are doing a lot better by Thanksgiving. Good luck and hang in there.
