Soakin' Up the Sun Sunday

Good morning work out goddesses.

I'm sitting at my desk this morning looking out the window at the sky which is just incredible...blue's and gray's and white's and the sun brightening things slowly but surely.

Contemplating what my day will be like. Soccer tournament is over for DD. Due to the rain no one played yesterday and it is a compressed schedule and her team is out. DS plays two games today. Workout...I need one, I want one. Might be able to rouse DH for a power walk outside. He's back in bed after checking the revised tournament scheduling.

Hope you all have an awesome Sunday. What are your plans/goals for the week? Any confessions from the Holiday weekend...overeating? Lack of exercise? All of the above?

Hugs!

Sassy :)

I was going to post a Slumbering Sunday workout post.Does that tell you my frame of mind for today????I just want to snuggle up on my loveseat and let the world go on about its business while I nap.

Confessions???Many!!The pumpkin pie was here no time.On the other hand the salad is turning funny colors cause it's been here so long.

I need a giant group effort to heave ho me back on the fitness wagon.Though possibly we should wait til after my nap :)

workout??I think it will just be the usual work in CL and turning some pages in a book.Though possibly I may get some respectable food in me, get an adrenaline surge and go for a fantastic workout.Sybil is leaving all her options open today.

Have a wonderful day however you spend it.

Good morning!

Sassy, please send some of that sunshine up here - the best way to describe Saturday and Sunday weatherwise is mud brown, with flashes of gray and faded grass green. Typical gloomy November. And durned cold, too!

Easy on workout today - heat treatment, light treadmill, UB and ab work, and stretching. We'll wrastle with getting the tree upright in the stand today, and putting on the lights; we'll finish decorating it over the next couple of nights. The rest of the indoor decorations are up and the house (at least the living and dining rooms) look very festive. DH keeps talking about working on the outdoor lights today - if he does, he's going to have to work fast, 'cuz it's mighty chilly out there!

No regrets at all about how I ate over Thanksgiving and the rest of the weekend. My weigh-in was this morning, and I'm thrilled to say I maintained - especially thrilled because of my bum back and lack of exercise over the last week plus.

Dinner tonight is a re-run of Thursday; gotta start cleaning up the leftovers, and I like my turkey as turkey - not soup, not croquettes, not pot pie, and not salad!

Have a great day, everyone!

It got much colder here last night. It was supposed to freeze, but I don't think it did. Thank goodness, because we were out and about until fairly late, and I didn't get around to covering up the tender plants that haven't hardened off this warm fall. It's sunny, and the computer says it's 40 now.

Today, we are leaving around noon to go into my parents' house to do some repairs for them. Mom is fixing a roast and other goodies for dinner, so we'll be in there until probably dark.

I've eaten some things I shouldn't this weekend, but have also eaten pretty healthy otherwise, so I guess it all balances out. I've gotten in a LOT of walking. Tomorrow I plan to get back into an actual workout and to really start watching my food intake now that Thanksgiving is past.

Enjoy your day!

Good Morning,

No Sun soakin' around here. It's cloudy around 40 and although not as windy as yesterday, still blowin'out there.

Have a list of things that are priorities-grocery shopping, bill paying, laundry but even more important are a haircut and a manicure. Have to get the priorities in the correct order! Not sure about a workout today, I'm really stiff from yesterday's so just might take the day off-we'll see how it goes.

Confessions-always eat too much when there are too many goodies in the house and ones that I like.

Better get started on my list of things to do-hope you all have a great Sunday!

It's been an absolutely terrific holiday week for me regarding exercise.

Hi, Sassy and you other lovely ladies! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm sitting here perusing the newspaper at work for a moment after finishing up a 3 mile run. It's beautiful here today, too! I had a great time running with my Celine Dion cd and plan on getting back up to 5 or 6 miles this week.

Had a great Thanksgiving with my friends - they had at least 40 different dishes laid out (large family get together) and I put tiny dabs on my plate. Still ended up about to pop!! I am not used to eating alot, obviously! Anyway, we had fun watching the Dolphins and Cowboys play (at least I did since I am a Dolphin fan!! Hehe!) and playing Lord of the Rings Trivial Pursuit. My friend's home was decorated so beautifully for Thanksgiving. Speaking of decorations, I still haven't put out the Christmas yet! Had too much fun cooking & shopping Fri. and Sat. Will slowly put the Christmas out today and the next 4 nights. Danny's going to have a good Christmas this year.

I work later today at Dillard's but have the next 4 nights off - YAY! Tried on my black velvet Jessica McClintock pearl beaded formal for our banquet - I can still wear it, but have to get back to my 4 pronged attack - WW eating, Water, Weights Workout and Cardio Workout (my 4 W's). Started out well today. Have to make my holiday resolution to stick to this until Christmas Eve. The leftovers are in the freezer and the Pumpkin Bourbon Cheesecake was taken to Dillard's yesterday to be consumed. It was yummy even though the doorbell rang with company as I was whirring up the cream cheese packages and left out 4 oz!!! Maybe it wasn't as firm as it should have been, but no bother! We ate it anyway.

Well, I must get out of here & back home to get ready for work. Have a wonderful Sunday & I will try to stop in later. I would really like to read some posts of yours tomorrow if I can sneak them in at work! LOL!

Love,

Kat

Great to hear from you Kat, and so glad to hear that you and Danny are doing well. I'm doing my part to support Dillard's this season. They have such good mdse. at the one near me and fabulous sales!

Hope to hear from you more often.

Rhonda
