Ok, today I finally got a workout in.I wanted to let it slide but sucked it up and did it.The main reason I did it was because I tried on the skirt I was going to wear to BIL's open house.Tell me how something hangs in the closet for a year and shrinks???SHEESH!!!Now I have all kinds of issues to deal with and I have to find something to wear.I'm not sure what actually happened in CL today but by the time I came out I had a cut across my forehead, a cut just below my eyebrow and a gash on my finger.Does this sound like someone you want serving you punch and cookies????

DH is driving me crazy!!!We got snow in here earlier and they were closing up the schools.I was uptown and came home to find DH had gotten done early and had come on home.Very happy and big sigh of relief. But then the big stinker turned around and went back across the mountain to do more work. When he left it was snowing sleeting! When he gets home I'm kicking his butt!!!:)

So tell me how your day has gone.Did you get a workout in?How's the weather? And finally does your DH listen to you????

I've had a good day. I did my workout first thing this morning so there would be no excuses why I shouldn't couldn't or wouldn't! In spite of me not being the shopper I used to be I did manage to pick up a few things. I found some cute snowmen fingertip towels for the upstairs bathroom and a really nice Windham Hill Christmas CD. I had bought the first one last year and they have another one that I picked up at Target. It's all instrumental and very mellow. And I did manage to get a few gifts purchased. I picked up lunch for DD and myself at Panera and we had lunch together and then we settled ourselves on the comfy couch, put in A Christmas Story in the dvd player-(that movie just makes me smile and I am frequently referred to as Ralphie's Mom!) while we addressed Christmas cards. It was nice being home together, enjoying each other's company and getting something accomplished at the same time. This evening we're going to veg out in front of the TV and plan what we would like to bake for Christmas cookies (one of my favorite things to do for the holidays).

The weather here was cold but no wind so it was a nice afternoon for a walk with Otto. Poor thing has been suffering from cabin fever because Mama hasn't felt like walking him in the dark and cold of night! And no my DH absolutely positively does not listen!

Nancy-congratulations on your new dog and I really hope you're feeling 100% soon. You sure have had a difficult time recuperating from this bug.

Hope you've all had a good Thankful Thursday!
