Welcome back! Having your parents be ill is very draining. You've had a lot going on in your life, and we're "shoulders" to lean on.

Hey there! Glad to see you back. I've missed you and your upbeat posts.

Glad to hear that your parents are getting better. I know how hard it is to deal with that. You don't have to handle everything yourself all at once you know. Besides, we are here to lean on if you need it. I've been doing a lot of leaning myself lately and trust me, the shoulders here are strong and solid.

Sorry to hear about the high blood pressure. I know it can be treated...my mom has bouts of HBP...but it's no fun. Good luck with that.

Tell Fred I said, "Yabba dabba do!"

Welcome back my friend.

Hi!

My former boss used to barge into my office first thing in the morning and preface his opening barrage with the words "thoughts while shaving". I don't have quite the same morning routine that he had, but while drying my hair this morning I started wondering where you had disappeared to and and how your mom was doing, not even knowing your dad has been unwell also. You have been missed, dear!

Thanks for the update on your busy life. Now add the holiday bustle to it. Take care - and get back to those workouts. I can't imagine you not doing something physically tough and challenging. And watch that BP - it has a funny way of sneaking up on you, no matter what your level of activity is.

Take care, Cee - good to "C" you again!

Good to see you back Cee. Life can certainly bring on difficult challenges and you seem to have been dealing with quite a few. I, too, was diagnosed with high BP back in June. It was certainly the last thing I was expecting. I've always been the mess cleaner too and apparently caught up with me! Take whatever advise your Dr gives you about that. Take good care of yourself and happy to see you back on the board!

Hey. You HAVE been missed!

Glad you are back. I had to read your post twice to catch it all!

You'll get back into your workouts just fine...it will help with your high blood pressure (even if it doesn't help lower it, it will help it from rising more!); it will help with your mental health (God knows we all need help with that); it will help you with physical stress (if you read back thru the last couple of months, you'll see that I am an expert on all of these issues).

Hugs to Nicholas. I'm thankful my folks and the out-laws are relatively healthy. My mom and dad had me when they were young so they are still young. My out-laws are in their 70's and there is a huge difference in health, mental and physical.

You have tons on your plate right now...make time for YOU.

Hugs.

Sassy
