The evil mood of Aunt Flo seems to be leaving and it's once again safe for family, friends and chickens to be around me :)Lots of work to get done today.Need to make sure I also make time to get on my treadmill. This week has not been good for workouts. Need to do better before all my clothes shrink!
What's on your schedule today?Fitness?Fun things?Anyone doing any Christmas shopping or going to any holiday get togethers?Making time for for yourself so you stay calm during this busy season?Family Circle had a great article on ways to stay sane and enjoy yourself when it gets crazy.Exercise was on the list and lots of other things.Things we all know we should do but sometimes just don't.
I would love to get outside for a walk but my boots didn't make it thru last winter. One of my projects will be replacing those so I can get outside some.Whatever you do I hope you enjoy your day!!

No plans to workout today. I'm taking a total rest day. My back is killing me today (pre-Flo) so I'm just chillin'. Making up my menus for next week. So far I've resisted a lot of holiday stuff, but we have a big holiday celebration at work this week and I'm cringing just thinking about it. I gotta be good the rest of the time as there are bound to be tons of wonderful and fancy desserts. I'm going to need the combined will power of everyone on the board to make it through this one...
Got a box of Chai tea this morning. It is phabulous! I think I have a new phavorite. Hope you all have a great day!

We're going to have to start calling you Snow Princess!! Glad you got some beautiful snow, but not so much that it's a hardship. Sounds as though the NE is really in for it. It was supposed to be equal to 30 with the wind chill here this morning, but warming up into the 50's. At least it's sunny and dry, so Tim can put up the lights. I hear him tromping around on the roof. He was saying wouldn't it be neat if Yorkies could put up the lower lights and the cats could do the high work on the roof? Very imaginative!! I can see Winston "marking" each one with satisfaction as he finished!!
We went to Olive Garden last night and had a really enjoyable dinner after a comedy of errors made us get a late start. We'd wanted to see "Elf," but didn't finish in time, so we went across the street to one of my favorite places -- the mall. We strolled through leisurely looking at things and watching people, admiring what a good Santa they have this year, listening to the music, and I got to try on some beautiful diamond bracelets just for fun. This is not a diamond year, but it's still fun to look.
