Good morning! What kind of Wednesday will it be; wild , wonderful or maybe alittle wacky??The possibilites are endless, aren't they.I'm hoping for wonderful with alittle wild wackiness thrown in for fun.I got some of my things on my list accomplished yesterday but not all.Today I'll finish those things up.Going to get my cards in the mail.

Have housework that needs to be done.Have you noticed that once you put a tree up in a room and throw some stuff on it the bar for cleaning is lowered?I'm thinking of putting on up in the bathroom.Maybe I won't have to clean it for awhile.

Workout today is going to be run.Probably on the treadmill since there is still

some ice around.Need to do those weights that I didn't get to yesterday. At this rate I'll be 40 before I get buff..oh wait I am 40..and then some!

Hope everyone has a goo Wednesday!

Well, we got pounded with a lovely snowstorm yesterday. Only got about 6 inches of snow but it was blowing around so much it was insane getting home. My 12 minute commute became a 34 minute commute with the mess we had going on yesterday. But the roads have been plowed and there's ice and packed snow on the roads, but all in all, waaaaaay better than yesterday was. But it's super cold. Bleh.

Yesterday's workout was a wash as well. When I finally got home, I was so stressed and absolutely furious at the snow that I took the dogs for a romp and then took a nap. Woke up just in time for DH to begin whining about dinner. And well, it went downhill from there. So today's workout will be Jazz class and bodysculpting....if I can get out of the 'special' holiday meeting we have downtown today in time for class. Have to get to the pharmacy too. So maybe my wednesday will be wild and wacky too.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot...I had to get DRESSED UP this morning for this stupid meeting so not only did I have to slog around in my pack boots, I had to cart along the 'business casual clothes' for the meeting. Is my irritation showing? GOOD! I don't know why we can't have these things in the plant. I guess it's their way of saying happy holidays or something. I'd rather have a check.

Have a great day.

PS Perhaps I should define 'dressed up' since we have some stiff competition here when it comes to snazzy dressing. I'm wearing my black cords with a black rib-snit top and my fuschia chenille cardigan type sweater. Nothing that fancy I guess, but it's way more than I'm used to. I don't even have any black shoes so I had to wear my brown leather mocs. Great huh?

I've done *much* better on the eating in the last two days and intend to keep it up. Ate reasonably yesterday, even at our MOMS Bible study yesterday, where I had just half-pieces of both the blueberry coffee cake and banana bread, and a small portion of the breakfast casserole. I'm usually not that cautious. At Chick-Fil-A having lunch with a friend, I had the salad - no fried nuggets or fries, no bready sandwich. My pants are already fitting better, they're not cutting off my circulation!

Today while Al is at Mom's Morning Out, I'm going to wrap a bunch of her gifts. Either before or after, I'll get the more physical housework done, swishing my hips while vacuuming and mopping the kitchen floors for extra calorie-burning (film at 11:00 - LOL!). Later, the bathrooms.

Good morning! I'm dragging this morning... I was up until almost 1:30 working on fine tuning a history project for Rob (with some internet photos) and was awake at 3:30 when Tim got up to get ready for his trip to CA. I didn't actually get up until 6, but it still wasn't much sleep. I took Rob to school, since Tim's plane took off at 6. The airport is on the far north side of town, and we're about as far south as you can go before going into the next county, so it's a good little drive there.

I'm going to take a little nap and then decide if I'm going to go to my friend's house to work on those favors or not. Her daughter has had the flu, and she wasn't feeling too hot herself yesterday afternoon, so I'm a little leery about that. I have not had my vaccine. Guess I should call around about that and see if there's any left in the city.

I'll make more plans for today after I see how I feel when I get back up. Have a good day everybody!

Good morning! I went to an awesome yoga class last night. My regular yoga teacher is on maternity leave, so I've been taking classes with someone else. Her style of yoga is different from any yoga I've seen or done in the past 30 years of yogaing. It is a mix of calastenics blended into yoga, very challenging for me because of the injured areas in my body. Last night, while in an extreme asana (pose) the instructor said, "Where does your mind go when your body is being challenged?" WOW! She totally turned me inside out with that one, my mind was busy being careful to protect my wounds, so I was being mindful and watching out for myself from the inside. I hope this makes sense. I was surprised to find, that when I thought about it, I was just inside myself. I wasn't worred about gifts, wrapping, cleaning, $$$, or my to-do list. I was just watching out for me, and taking care of me. OK, how about some discussion on this.

Anyway, my workout today will be a mindful walk at lunchtime.

Good morning, all!

It's kind of a good day here - cloudy, not cold at all (by our definition up here anyway, Rhonda!). I almost felt silly in my to-the-floor coat, scarf, and new storm boots, but I'd rather be prepared for going home in the dark and chill than not. Lots of rain on the way tomorrow.

DH is working a 1/2-day today - he's going to be home for the chimney sweep, and he'll pick up the new lamps before the store closes and try to finish clearing out the storm drain before the rains begin. Tonight we're heading to the big regional mall south of us for some Christmas cheer and serious mall walking. That'll be part of my workout tonight; if we don't get home too late, I'll do all-over weights and easy stretching before sleep.

Got the Christmas cards in the mail this morning. Part of the shopping tonight will be to get the family cards.

Have a great day, all!
