Let us know what you decide--I love festive attire :o)

Love what you said about helping others regardless of our talents, it's amazing once you start helping how you discover your own special talents that God has given you.

Hello.

I've got a bit of running around to do this morning. One sick kid on the couch (who unfortunately will be missing his first Christmas concert) and another running around driving everyone crazy! I've got scratchies in my throat too, though I'm hoping to fight it off!

The things I'm thankful for...

1. My wonderful husband. He's such a great father and always so helpful when the chips are down! I'm so blessed.

2. That dh has a secure job and that we live within our means. My brother is a seasonal worker and things are tough for him right now. Also, the ferry worker's union has just gone on strike. It's going to be a lean Christmas for a lot of folks.

3. Unimportant, I know, but I'm thankful that most of my Christmas preparations are finished. That way if I do come down with something, I won't have piles of things left to do!!

Have a goo day everyone!

Margie. How nice of your mom's friend to send you the note. Sometimes folks (and by folks I mean ME) don't know what to say or do. We Baptists bring food and lots of it. Having a good cry is always appropriate. When I came out of the doctor's office today, I sat down behind the wheel of my van and just let it all out. It was such a relief!

Lots of hugs, Margie-girl!

Sassy
