Ok...all of you wonderfully organized women, if you're sending out holiday/Christmas cards, how are you doing with this

C - done, mailed, gone! And I'm not as organized as I used to be. It seems that the more pressed I am at work, the more I let other things slide - maybe a subconscious reaction to stress (well, not so subconscious anymore). Everything has slid the last two weeks. Doing a Christmas card mailing like this year's is an addition to my list of things to do at the holidays; I'm just glad I was able to follow through with it.

*This* year, I'm one of the organized ones! I've done family photos on printable cards ever since Allison was a year old, and this year, they're already printed, addressed, stuffed, in the mail... and local folks have already received them. Usually, I'd be doing them this weekend, probably - I'm early this year.

Deb I must be honest with you. I had cards left over from last year, plus I managed to buy 2 extra boxes about 6 weeks ago. I wrote out my cards about 2 weeks ago, one night while watching TV. I mailed all the out of state ones first and this week all the local ones will go out. On the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend we took out all our holiday stuff and began rearranging things. First I packed all my pictures and knick-knacks off my fire place mantle, my bay window, and the hutch in the livingroom. Then we slowly started to take out all the stuff. Last weekend because we were trapped inside because of the snow Bill helped me out tons, we finished all my village houses, and all the odds and ends. We put our tree up and he hung all the lights. Katie and I finished yesterday doing all the decorating. Now I am going to put up another tree in my livingroom. Its going to be a Victorian tree. That is this weekends project. I sound great, right? Well guess what I have not even started my shopping. So I still have a long way to go.
