I think AOL is mad at us - it kicked DH and me off the net every time we tried to get in over the weekend.
Sassy - How are you feeling today? This bug that's going around takes a while to "run its course", as the drs say, so I hope it's on the downside for you finally and that you don't have to play doctor and nurse to the other family members.
Shar - The vision flash must have scared you and your DD. Hope everything checks out ok for her - they're rare in young people, but there's always the unusual situation that arises.
Revanna - I definitely missed your good-news post over the last few days. Congratulations, and very best wishes!
Grace - How's the foot faring?
Susan - How's your DD doing?
Nacy - Are you feeling like yourself yet?
Weekend snow wasn't bad around where I live. Mostly slop and slush. Our next-door neighbor, bless his heart, came by and dug us out with his snowthrower before the snow changed to a wet mix that would have rendered the snowthrower useless. DH was is sad shape most of the weekend and couldn't have handled it - as it was, he went out and dug out the stairs and front walk before he gave up and came back in in the middle of a coughing fit. At least his fever broke in the early hours of Sunday morning and he's not seeing three of everything anymore.
The Nutcracker was a success. My niece loved the whole experience, and was mesmerized by the show. And she really enjoyed her intermission brownie and hot cocoa (I enjoyed little tastes, too - great brownie)! When my sister and I checked in to make sure everyone got home safely in the snow, she told me my niece was twirling and leaping all over the house. Pavlova in the making!
Have a good day, everyone!
Donna
