First, Phyllis I was wondering if when you run on the treadmill do you use an incline at all?I don't have an auto incline on my treadmill so on the treadmill I always run on a flat surface.I was looking at a good deal on a treadmill that does have an auto incline. But now I'm wondering if one reason I don't have problems with my knees is because I stick mostly to flat surfaces.I'd love to hear anyones thoughts on this. Thanks!

Right now I just use the flat surface for running.

The knee I had surgery on never bothers me going upstairs, but it sometimes hurts when I walk down. I try not to ever run going downhill.
