Anyway, is it really only 10 days until Christmas? I'm still waiting for gifts to arrive, gifts to wrap, gifts to buy and cards that should have been sent and haven't. My house is a wreck, laundry is piled high, I haven't worked a full week since before Thanksgiving and I was just beginning to dig out of the piles before being out for another 2 days. I don't exactly know how I'm going to get out of this mess that I'm in.
Despite the sadness of this past week there were good things that have happened. DD got her pathology report back from her doctor and it was great news! And in spite of everything going on around here I went for a follow up on my blood pressure and it was a very healthy 112/70! The doctor actually took it again-maybe he thought I bribed the nurse to put down a good reading so I wouldn't have to come back again! And I got to hold my new great nephew Jack who is a real cutie!
After 2 days of being away from any exercise, decent eating or water drinking I hope to be back on track tomorrow. I know if I get back on track with that the other things will fall back into place.
It's nice to be back with all of you and I want to thank you all for your good thoughts and prayers during this difficult time!

Nice to have you back, Susan. Again, sorry you have been through such a hard time.
Great news about DD...I am sure all of you are very relieved and happy with the report. Good job with the BP too!!
Don't worry about all the stuff piled up. Just tackle one thing at a time after you take care of YOU! Try not to stress over it. HUGS!!
Take care and enjoy the good news.

Great news on your daughter's pathology report and your blood pressure. Savor the moments holding that baby. What you've experienced this past week is truly the Circle of Life.
Don't sweat the season, Susan - take it a task at a time. Buy bags instead of wrapping. Do the laundry, but don't worry about the floors or dusting or other details that you might wrap up in during a normal year. Don't knock yourself out decorating. And cards? Don't feel obligated: a quick note after the holidays bringing people up to date and sharing the news of your loss will certainly be accepted and understood.
