Good Morning,

I'm not seeing a workout in my future plans for the day. It seems like if I don't get it in first thing in the AM during the week it doesn't happen, but I've been up every AM this week so think I'll consider it a rest day.

Today is the office luncheon so by day's end I'm not so sure how fit and fabulous I'll be feeling! The bosses take the staff out to dinner and the staff brings lunch into the office during the holidays. I made zucchini quiche last night and I hope it tastes as good as it smelled last night especially since I had to guess when it was done because someone forget to set the oven timer (oops I think that was me)! And then we have a Secret Santa exchange. I'm already with my Christmas socks and red sweater with my Santa pin attached.

After work I need to make a mad dash to the grocery store to get all my ingredients for my marathon baking session set for tomorrow and then it will be jammies and have to get wrapping done.

That's my day-hope you have a fit and fabulous day!

Hello, all you lovely little Christmas cookies! Been missing you all and wanted to thank you all for the lovely Christmas cards - I have them arranged in my office (as I live here!) until Christmas - need to get one of those Christmas card display holders as I don't have a mantle on my fireplace. Still haven't finished decorating, although the tree is finished. I won't have much down time until after Christmas, so tonight I'm baking cookies for our Dillard's party tomorrow - have to put in an eleven hour day! Then, Sunday, I have the day off to go to SS, clean, finish decorating, get stocking stuffers and do some more baking. Won't wrap gifts 'till Christmas Eve day as I guess I'm paranoid about a break-in, even with a home security system installed. Danny's Christmas gifts are in the trunk still! Luckily, I have Christmas Eve off from both jobs, so I will have lots of time with Danny. Poor Danny, I made him go to "LOTR Return of the King" on Wed. night. He had some midterms on Thur., but managed to study Wed. during the afternoon. He made A's on all of them, so I guess there was no harm done in being out until 10:30 p.m.! I still want to go see "Somethings Got to Give" and "Cold Mountain". I checked out the book, "Cold Mountain" at the library. Also, checked out some Christmas themed fiction.

Anyone have any ideas for stocking stuffers for a 13 yr. old boy? I always buy him socks & underwear besides the usual oranges, apples, nuts, candy, toothbrush, travel sizes of personal hygiene stuff, etc. I might get him a CD if I could just figure out what music he likes, LOL! Then there's always fishing tackle & magazines! What are your favorite stocking stuffers? Mine are beauty products, small books, magazines (of course, chocolate!).

I'm eating lighter these days and tonight I plan to do some kind of cardio - probably park the car in my friend's neighborhood and do some walking to look at Christmas lights! That's always fun!

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas season if I don't get to come over to post again. I hope to get to the midnight Christmas eve service as that always is the highlight of Christmas for me. One of our churches has a drive thru nativity, so I will also check that out.

Love & Merry Christmas,

Kat

Rob is 15 today, so we've beem checking into getting his learner's driving permit. I took him over to Best Buy (a mad house!) to use a gift card he'd gotten that was burning a hole in his pocket. Also, got movie tickets early (ones to Return of the King for him and his friend and ones for Something's Got To Give for Tim and me) for the 7:30 showings. Ours gets out at 9:20. Theirs gets out at 11:05!! We may just have to go to the Steak and Shake next door or something like that to wait. We're taking them to Olive Garden for dinner at Rob's request.

I picked up more baking ingredients while I was out and also took some homemade soup, a loaner magnet, and some Christmas presents over to a dear 84-year old friend. She pulled something in her arm the other day when she was trying to get out of a chair, and we're hoping the magnet will help. Also, I figured she
