Good morning-
Hope you're all getting a chance to sleep in this morning.
Just finished my workout for the day-2.3 mile walk/run on the treadmill and weights. Today will be baking Santa some cookies-and I'm really going to try to stay out of them. In addition to the family favorites I'm going to be trying some new recipies-will see how that works out! My house is in desperate need of cleaning but that won't be today. I enjoy my holiday baking so the stereo will be on and that new oven will be getting a good workout and either someone else will volunteer for housecleaning or it will wait for tomorrow.
Hope you all have a great day!

Rhonda, I think you asked what Billygoats are. They are cookies with raisins and nuts and I'm not sure what else.We haven't done them for awhile.I'll refresh my memory and taste buds today.
I need to finish up a couple of gifts(wrapping) and then I'm done with that.Anyone else sometimes feel like it's a race to the finish line?
Ok, I'm already late and sure to hear about it.Hope you guys have a wonderful day.I'm thinking of Donna and her weekend away, sounds wonderful doesn't it!

I was pleased to see that the paper printed my brief letter to the editor about the capture of Saddam Hussein. When the boys wake up we're taking them down to St. Augustine to look at our favorite surf shop. Rob wants to get a new board and has enough to put one in lay-a-way, if he decides too, and could have it paid off by spring. Also, a neat shop in the historic area has some cut glass fireplace screens on order, which may have come in their shipment yesterday. We've been wanting one and would love to get it before Christmas. On the way home, we want to get by the Harry and David's store to see what goodies we can pick up for Christmas Eve. I'm doing it a lot easier way this year, although I'll still make some chocolate almond biscotti and a couple of other kinds of cookies and maybe a cranberry orange relish cake. Patty, I make some Treasure cookies that have nuts, raisins, chocolate, and graham cracker crumbs in them that are really good. I wonder if they're like Billygoats.
Still thinking about how good the movie was last night. I'll see it again when it's available on Moviebeam. The computer says it's 37 here this morning, but the wind has died down and it's sunny, so I think by afternoon it should be a pretty decent day. I'll be glad when I can stop covering the plants at night (and it's not even winter yet). I think tomorrow is the first day of winter!! The one good thing about that is that after that the days start getting longer again and it starts getting closer to spring!
When we get home, my mission is to get the lights on the tree. That is major for me, so I'll be really relieved when it's finished and hope there will be some needles left on it. I've never seen
