I almost cringe when I hear the words "Time" Magazine's person of the

I did cry when I went to the site and read about the soldiers and what they do. Also about the families left behind and the soldiers who lost their lives.I was so touched by the father who said he bore no hate towards the ones who killed his son because they were fighting for their country just like our soldiers are.

Thank you for posting this, Deb.

No kidding. My thanks to *all* the men and women of our armed forces and the allies who are working hard to track down terrorist organizations and the regimes that finance them. I'm glad our nation did not sit idly by, as so many other nations have, when war was brought to our soil September 11th, 2001 - an event that changed me forever even though I didn't personally know any of those who died that day. All of our forces deserve our gratitude and salutations.

Hear, hear! Thanks for posting this, Deb; been out of touch for a few days and haven't received my latest issue.

Gee, what a difference a couple of generations makes. What a difference today from our treatment of the military in the 1960s and 1970s.

(Speaking in general terms here, folks - "our" means the headline makers who lobbed Molotovs and cursed the troops rather than honor them for having to do a terrible job....)
