So, you've posted what your PLANNED workout is today...now post your ACTUAL workout today. We should be accountable to keep each other going and motivated. I did my cardio on the treadmill..warm-up (powerwalking) jogging and cool down. No abs (see...I'm honest) but I did tons of shoulder work, chest press and lat pull-downs. My arms are shaking as I try to hold them up to type this. MY KIND OF WORKOUT!

And, I might add, I was looking pretty hot (according to DD) in my new Champion Sports Bra and Adidas dry-fit workout shorts. Thank you Hunky Santa for my box of new workout clothes!

I'm scarfing down my big glass of choc soy, two fried eggs (in fat-free spray, not butter) with a thin slice of de-lish ham on top of one British-style crumpet (hey...nobody's perfect!) :) Flo is just around the corner, according to my need for carbs.

Okay...'fess up..how'd ya do with your workouts today?

Drink some water today. Since the weather has turned cold, I'm so lax on my water intake. I really need reminders on it.

Hugs.

Sassy

Well, I didn't post my planned workout today, but I can share my actual workout.

Went to Jazzercise this morning. The instructor was a woman that I just really enjoy, but don't get to her classes very often. She really challenges us to keep moving and stay safe and make it our own workout. I find myself really toning down on the impact and intensity lately and I was feeling a little bad about that, but she puts it in perspective. We all need to tailor our workouts to our level of fitness *right now* not what we think it ought to be. I always feel so good after her class.

Just got back from a walk with da bears. The weather is gorgeous today with an amazing sunny sky so I put them through their paces. Both dogs are doing excellent imitations of roadkills on the living room floor as I type.

Just finished off a really sweet grapefruit (part of the Christmas extravaganza) and I'm feeling pretty sassy right now. I think I'll head to the bedroom and tackle the pile of laundry before it transforms into a new lifeform.

I spent most of the day in the car. Traffic on I-95 was horrible, so we took US 1 back. We did a little shopping for my sister's MIL and Mom, and I found some neat nutcracker plates, napkins, and cheese spreaders 50% off in a little gift shop downstate, so I got those to put aside for next year. The MIL got me a cute Red Hat address book (need a new one), bookmark, and darling beaded case with a little mirror in it for my purse just because I gave her a ride home. She is such a sweetheart.

I did get another load of laundry done this morning, hung up the clothes from last night's laundry, did dishes, and other general straightening before I left at 9:45 and exchanged a CD for Tim before I met Mom and Edie to head downstate. Feel as though it's been a very productive day.

Rob took his 4-hr. safety class today. Said it was really boring, but he was very excited that he made 100 on the sample learner's permit test before he's even studied the book. I'm sure we'll be making an appt. for the test ASAP. He spent the night with his best friend, and Tim and I went out to eat and to see "Mona Lisa Smile" with Julia Roberts, Julia Stiles, Kirsten Dunst, Maggie Gylenhall (sp), etc. It was very good and sort of like a female "Dead Poet's Society." Tim was surprised that he liked it as much as he did, because he doesn't usually care for Julia Roberts. She's been pretty much type cast.

Not sure what we're doing tomorrow, but I told him I want to do something active after being in the car most of today.

I did it, too! 45 min cardio/3.5 mi total on the treadmill, moving at a good clip. 30 min weights - UB, LB, abs. 15 minutes of stretching. And downed a few gallons of H2O throughout the day. I think this was my best workout in about a week. Certainly the sweatiest.....
