Nosey Post Christmas Questions to you??

Ahhhh I'm staring at the tree and the lights and the tons of decor and thinking..oh, this stuff needs to go away.

the tree comes down after Twelfth Night (January 6th or thereabouts)
the presents are picked up (otherwise the cat would be playing with them)
and I forgot the last question... oh yeah, cards. I take addresses from them and then either toss or give to someone to send to a place that recycles cards for charity

Outdoor lights and things will come down tomorrow since it is supposed to be in the 60's temp wise.
2) Are your presents put away or are they still under the tree? A bit of both. I just got done going thru all of the clothes and pulling them apart to be washed or exchanged.
3) When will you be taking the tree and everything else down inside the house? Next Sunday the tree will come down, if not before.
4) What are your plans for the Christmas cards you received? I keep all of the Holiday cards we receive and use them as gift tags the following year.
Good questions, our Deb!

1) If you hung up outdoor lights and decor, is it down yet or when do you plan to take it down? I was hoping they'd come down today, but I have a feeling it will be next weekend.
2) Are your presents put away or are they still under the tree? We put them away immediately.
3) When will you be taking the tree and everything else down inside the house? Unless we add a room on, the trees may stay up all year! ;-) Usually they're down before the 1st. Won't be that soon this year.
4) What are your plans for the Christmas

We decorate our front doorstep.
You Were Born An Original... Don't Die A Copy
2) Presents are all put away.
3) Same as outdoor stuff - January 3rd or 4th, rain or shine.
4) I'll hang on to them for a year, then maybe recycle them into gift tags or even laminate some and save them as ornaments. I'll definitely save Nancy's lovely family photo!
1) If you hung up outdoor lights and decor, is it down yet or when do you plan to take it down?
Done the day after Christmas
2) Are your presents put away or are they still under the tree?
Put away
3) When will you be taking the tree and everything else down inside the house?
Took it down the day after Christmas.

1) If you hung up outdoor lights and decor, is it down yet or when do you plan to take it down? I'll take 'em down during the week after New Year's Day. (When I worked, it was the weekend immediately following). Our last day for turning on the lights *is* New Year's Day night.
2) Are your presents put away or are they still under the tree? Still in suitcases! LOL! Normally about half of them are put away by now.
3) When will you be taking the tree and everything else down inside the house? Again, the week following New Years'.
4) What are your plans for the Christmas cards you received? I keep all the pictures and put them in photo albums. The rest of the cards, I'll separate letters, keep ones from immediate family, and save any others that are especially funny or touching. The rest I don't keep.
I should add that I keep up the Dickens Village winter scene until mid-February some time. It's the last thing I put out when decorating, and it's just so pretty and still seasonal that I don't want to take it down right away.

2) Are your presents put away or are they still under the tree? Some put away, some still under the tree
3) When will you be taking the tree and everything else down inside the house? I would like to do it the weekend after New Years, but DH wants to keep it up until the weekend after
4) What are your plans for the Christmas cards you received? Photo cards I keep-the rest are recycled.
1. Outdoor decor....the front door wreath will come down on Jan 1, which is when I put all of the decs away. The lights will be lit until Jan 1, then come down whenever dh gets around to it.
2. Dh and my presents are put away, but the boys' toys are still under the tree as they are playing with them constantly and I'm not quite sure what I'm doing about storage!!!
3. I will re-cycle this year's cards for next year's gift tags.
I really look forward to Jan 1, so I can get the house back to "normal" (whatever that is)! I do a huge housecleaning that day and feel good about starting the year!
Season's Greetings,
Shar
