I gave myself a big heave ho and got back on my treadmill today. In spite of being interupted by 3 phone calls, it felt fantastic!!!Service guy was one phone call and he's used to hearing the heavy breathing. He knows right off I'm on the treadmill.DH was pretty intrigued by the heavy breathing. I almost had him convinced to come on home and he is way out of town!

I've had my eating under control today. Of course it's early and I haven't come up against that late afternoon demon!Still I'm feeling like I can handle it today and I'm doing it one day at a time. And I'm doing it in my new running shoes and workout pants which felt great though still not sure about that whole backside issue.....

Hope your day is going well!!!

You really pull him in with that heavy breathing!

I did 2.25 miles on the treadmill this afternoon.

The best laid plans....

Got side-swiped by some chocolate covered pretzels today. There is scads (and by scads I mean tons) of junky crap in the fridge here at work STILL! I was hoping it would all disappear over my break, but no such luck. Fortunately, the fridge is off in a distant corner that I rarely visit. Now I just have to avoid the well-intending co-workers. I'm a little jumpy and nervous about my weight since I decided to change my workout routine. Just hope I don't put on a bunch of weight now especially since I managed to get through the holidays without gaining a single pound...of course I didn't lose any either.

Still not planning to workout, but I may get a little yoga session in tonight after the bear walking.

Do you ever have a day that just absolutely sux? Not any particular reason. Hm. Maybe it's me! (Nahhh...impossible since Dr. Phyl told me it's NOT all about me!);) Still have a migraine. Still have a job. Still have 3 children and two dogs. All of which is really, really irking me today! I finally left the office. It was that or start snapping and snarling at the boss. Just because. And food...geez. Don't get me started. I have been eating anything that is not tied down. Made the mistake of going to the grocery store. Actually, it was so overwhelming (so much food, so little time, so little room left in the jeans) that I left with a bag of potatoes as the only "bad" thing purchased! Did stop at FourBucks for my second latte of the day. That's a sure sign that it just ain't a good day. I truly just feel like ranting and raving and crying. Just might do it. Got my hair cut today and HATE IT. I'm seeing a pattern here! Personally, I think it is all because I didn't get my workout in this morning. Tomorrow morning, I don't give a darn if I never make it into work...I'm doing my workout. Did I mention I got a $1000 bonus from work? It wasn't nearly enough!

I am really in sad shape, aren't I? I feel a bit better after venting at you guys...but my next victim will soon be home...poor DH!

I got some yardwork done. Mowed part of the yard (after I had to go to the inconvenience store for gas), edged some (after disconnecting some of the outside lights to

So rant, rave, and cry. No one here will mind. We won't fire you, we won't get mad and holler at you, we won't go off sulking, and we won't call the guys in the white coats.

I wish I had some magic ingredient that would wipe out your migraines (and Patty's and Susan's and Rhonda's and Margie's and.....). I wish your bonus had 2 more zeroes at the end (the right end). I wish you liked your haircut (it'll look different tomorrow, I promise). I don't wish you had more room in your jeans to accommodate a bad food binge - you'll just end up feeling worse than you do now. Mostly I wish AF would leave everyone alone, quietly, without setting off a whole other string of events in the wake of her leaving.

If wishing could make it so....

I'm in my workout clothes and rushing to the dungeon. Got the hungry horrors this afternoon even with a good lunch and my snack - first time in months and I don't know why - so I'm racing to the treadmill before I head to the kitchen and start investigating what's in the fridge/cabinets.

Later!

I don't think I posted what I was going to do today so I met my goals LOL!

I have done two hours of fitness this morning, circuit training followed by Jazzercise simply.

I did a good walk (about 45 minutes) at the gym tonight with my buddy I used to workout with. It was good. Then we hit the hottub.

Tomorrow I fly away, away-o.

I did it - 30 min/2.3 mi cardio, and 20 min UB and abs, a little stretching for my hips, a quart of H2O, and the hungry horrors are gone for now. Better get dinner cooked and eaten asap, and shower later.
